Sunset Hideaway located on no wake canal w/close access to boat launch&main lake
This vacation home has 3BR/ 2 full baths with upstairs balcony overlooking the lake. In addition to the 3BR, there have been two pull our sleeper sofas added, one downstairs and one upstairs for added sleeping accommodations. Great sunsets, calm breeze, friendly boat traffic on canal, and relaxing setting with a good deal of outdoor area for relaxing in the shade or sun. Ideal for small to med-size groups or families. The home is conveniently located by lake or road to Russell's Point, Woody's Diner, Spend-A-Day Marina, Cranberry's, and adjacent to Moundwood State Park with large public boat launch and parking lot. Enjoy on-site docking for your boat or jet skis along private 60' sea wall located within the no wake zone.
Comfortably sleeps 8-12. Additional sleeping options have been added in 2024 with the addition of 2 new sleeper sofas (one upstairs and one down)for added sleeping options along with two KING beds in each of the two first floor bedrooms with full over queen bunkbeds with the sleeper sofa on the second floor; totaling 6 separate mattresses. Each room air conditioned, can accommodate various temps throughout the house for your comfort.

***** Waters edge concrete patio for relaxing, swimming, fishing, or simply waiving to passing boaters through the spacious canal
***** Additional parking and boat ramp with trailer parking at the state park for use of your boat.

***** Fire pits w/starter wood supplied for outdoor relaxing
***** Netflix provided, SmartTV or Roku provided to log into your own streaming services.

The Sunsets are no joke and a morning, noon, or night spent sitting outside on the patio, the balcony, or near the water its tough to beat the view and easy to forget life's worries. I enjoy the lake and the relaxation that comes with being around or on the water with family and friends. Simply looking to share that with family, friends, and new friends who are able to come and enjoy your time at Sunset Hideaway. As a full time resident of Indian Lake I take pride in what the lake has to offer those close to me and would like to share that with others. So offering the Sunset Hideaway for those looking to unwind, relax, and create some memories with those closest to you is a win for all of us and if I can in some small way help to facilitate that for a family, a young person on their first vacation, or be a part of a growing tradition....well that's just pretty cool!
Why they chose this property
Location at Indian Lake is perfect for friends and family to join and enjoy the lake life on occasion. One thing that is really great about the location and property is that on the land side traffic is not able to go through, its a turnaround; thus limiting the amount of traffic. However on the lakeside, the canal gets a good amount of no-wake traffic so waving to boaters and enjoying the view is peaceful and never boring. Hopefully you can find time to visit Indian Lake as well and relax with your friends and family.
What makes this property unique
Access is key with this location. Via car or boat, you have quick access to many things the lake has to offer in and out of season. If you need to get away by simply throwing a few personal items in a bag and leaving, this is a location for you. Local grocery, restaurants, and watering holes bring conveniences with entertainment, food, and comforts just minutes away. Great local shopping and food around the lake or even more of it 12 minutes East in Down Town Bellefontaine and in the Winter time, snow skiing, snowboarding, and more at Mad River Mountain just 20 minutes East and your on the slopes.
