The upstairs master features a king bed, vaulted ceilings, great storage, a flat screen TV, and a stunning view of the ocean. The guest room features both a full and twin bed, walk in closet, and a flat screen TV. The kitchen has been updated, reflecting light wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances throughout. The living area boasts a beautiful living space that looks out over the ocean from the balcony. The sofa in the living area does include a sleeper sofa, and a flat screen TV. This unit is conveniently located by the pool and the beach access gate!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a great time once again at this property. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy, the view is unbeatable, and pool access/boardwalk access can't be beat. I have stayed repeatedly at this exact site, but all the properties offer so much, I have tried others and they are all great!We have been coming to Summerhouse for years now and have plans to return yet again! We cannot recommend this property enough, some timeframes are busier than others but the St. Augustine area is spectacular. There is plenty to do, its history and natural beauty is both educational and awe-inspiring. Being from Central Florida, I've known that St. Augustine is a hidden gem in plain site, but Summerhouse is even more secluded and set just far enough away to make for a restful holiday that I can share with my kids and extended family. My soapbox: Hopefully, the preservation of the coastline of Florida can withstand all the commercialism and development that keeps wrecking the climate for our future. Also, I would hope that eventually the locals close down the access for driving on the beach, which data shows and we all know causes a degradation of the natural protection (and beauty) the dunes offer, puts at risk the sites for nesting turtles, also is a danger to people due to the high speeds of these monster trucks - not to mention the burning of fossil fuels. I'd love to see that change for the long term health of the property overall because I'd love to keep coming here for years to come and pass the tradition on to my offspring. Good luck, Florida!Summerhouse is a great spot to relax, adventure, rejuvenate and come back to again and again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay upstairs after years of staying downstairs. The balcony was phenomenal. You can’t beat staying in building 20 as it is the southernmost unit on property. The unit has been nicely updated and is bright and airy. All the beds sleep like a dream and the unit is relatively well equipped. Staff addressed any concerns we had and our only suggestion would be to recaulk the bath tub and shower as well as deep clean the grout, so that it reflects the rest of the unit.

Mostly clean just some deep clean items I noticed (cobwebs in hard to reach areas). This didn't affect the stay but would benefit from a deep clean. Washing machine didn't dry well, may need lint duct cleaned out. Great views and location. Would recommend.

The unit was newly renovated, and the owners thought of everything. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bedroom and baths were immaculate and comfortable. But a best part was the balcony. you could practically fall off the balcony and into the ocean! (not really), The owners also bought two smaller tables with two chairs each. the beauty of that was the choice between sun and shade and breeze or calm.I also strongly recommend using the rental service at the condo office, they were a lovely group to work with. Utterly pleasant experience.
