Welcome to Beach 2 Anchor self-catering accommodation! In the heart of the village, with the beach, restaurants and shops at your doorstep, this is simply “The Best Location for Vacation!!!”

Soak up the views at Beach 2 Anchor and experience the beach atmosphere from your private patio. Light your BBQ on our large gas braai, and enjoy al fresco dining at our 8 seater outdoor dining table. The Beach 2 Anchor patio has wonderful shady mornings and warm sunny afternoons. A fold out awning is available should you prefer shaded late afternoon sunsets.

Beach 2 Anchor is located in the secure Anchorage building on Beach road and offers secure parking behind an electronic gate. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is built over 4 levels. A new bedroom has been created just outside the unit, adjacent the garage. Sleep an extra 2 people, with own en-suite bathroom. Enter at the ground level; proceed up to the living area, where you can enjoy open plan dining and sitting room with a well-appointed gully kitchen. Looking out at the sea from the kitchen gives you the distinct impression that you may be on a boat. The apartment has excellent WiFi on all levels and air conditioning to cool the entire space. A ‘kids room’, also called the Rhino room, with fabulous big bunk bed and indoor BBQ entertainment area can be found on this level.

Up another level at Beach 2 Anchor brings you to the bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms. The Elephant room, sleeps 2, the Buffalo room sleeps 2 with air-conditioning, and the Lion room (the master bedroom) sleeps two guests as well. The master bedroom boasts a private balcony with awesome sea views, en-suite bathroom and and air-conditioning.

A washer and dryer is available for guest use on longer stays.

The upper level is certainly the ‘piece de resistance’ of the entire experience at Beach 2 Anchor. Here you will find an enclosed Jacuzzi tub with outstanding views across the beach, the bay and clear views of Table Mountain. A bar service counter with fridge is cleverly placed for your convenience. Cocktails and drinks can be enjoyed in the Jacuzzi room on the lounge suite or at the 4 seater captain table at the window.

Loadshedding and Power outages: At Beach 2 Anchor you will not be affected by the loadshedding and power outages currently experienced in South Africa. We have installed an 8kW inverter with 10.4kW battery storage. This means you can stay at beach 2 anchor without any impact from loadshedding and power outages. This makes beach 2 anchor the perfect place for remote working as we have top of the range WiFi un-interrupted. So you can work remote whilst your family can enjoy a break away with everything un-interrupted, DSTV, internet, streaming, washing and cooking.

PLEASE NOTE: A one-time exit cleaning fee of R1200 will be included in the final invoice. To qualify for our complimentary weekly cleaning and linen change, your booking must be for 14 days or more, and the service will occur on the 6th or 7th day of your stay.

If you would like to arrange additional cleaning during your stay, at your own expense, please inform the office 48 hours in advance by getting in touch HERE and we will provide a quotation according to your requirements.

Beautiful beachfront apartment

We loved our stay here. Here are some pluses: — The views from the balconies were amazing. — The apartment had plenty of space for everyone to spread out. — There plenty of places to lounge. — The kitchen has everything you need. — The walk-in shower was great for those who don’t like to hop over the bathtub. — It is easy and cheap to get Ubers to nearby restaurants and shopping. We never tried to take on to Cape Town. (It is easier to get Ubers if you pay cash). Here are some negatives: — We could never get the hot tub hot enough to enjoy on cool windy evenings. Although the property manager tried to fix the temperature. — There was no mention in the description of the tight spiral staircases that connected all the floors. (This made carrying loaded suitcases to your bedroom a challenge.) — On windy nights, the rattle of the skylights and other stuff on the roof, made it hard to sleep. Overall, we would stay here again. The location was fabulous.

Our offices are situated in the center of Gordons Bay, and we also host the "tourism" for our area. Adventure activities, recommendations and advice are easy to access from us. Your wonderful hosts Dustin and Bertha will greet you on arrival and be available to assist you when ever needed.

Beach 2 Anchor is in the center of the village opposite the main beach. You can enjoy elevated views from the jacuzzi on the roof deck, fine dining at your door step and be entertained by beach goers all day long from your shady balcony. Located near the tip of Africa, with incredible surroundings and nature, the ocean and magnificent views. Also we are at the start of the whale route, so whale spotting are not uncommon in the area.
