'Die Braaihuis', 3 Bedroom Vacation home with indoor braai overlooking the beach

Die Braaihuis holiday home is situated in a PRIME LOCATION!! The short-term rental is a spacious, warm, and welcoming 3 bedroom home in the heart of the old village of Gordons Bay. The house has a fantastic atmosphere and views that take your breath away! We are best known for our indoor Braai room which is semi attached to the main living area with huge glass doors that fold right back to give that great outdoor ocean experience. If it’s a windy or gloomy day, just shut the doors and you’ll still have the view!

Die Braaihuis is designed to accommodate 6 people comfortably. We boast a very large patio area with uninterrupted views of False Bay, the main swimming beach, and central Gordon’s Bay across the peninsula to Table Mountain.

We are within walking distance from all shops and restaurants, and a mere 30m from the main swimming beach and scenic coastal walks.
We offer a well equipped kitchen with modern appliances, two fridges and a freezer. The Famous braai room is well stocked with all your braai utensils and we also provide free firewood as an arrival gift. The house boasts a large balcony around the entire house with private access from two of the bedrooms, braai area, and lounge. We provide Full DSTV on a big screen TV with a fireplace in the living area. We have a double parking garage with remote access for your safety and convenience.

Power outages (Load shedding): We are pleased to say that this property has a backup power supply that will run a light, a charger, a television, and WiFi. We hope this feature makes your stay even more enjoyable!

PLEASE NOTE: A one-time exit cleaning fee of R800 will be included in the final invoice. To qualify for our complimentary weekly cleaning and linen change, your booking must be for 14 days or more, and the service will occur on the 6th or 7th day of your stay.

Perfect location with beautiful views

We spent a week at Die Braaihaus after a 4 day safari and 10 day bike tour of SA. A great place to recover and and unwind. Located near great eateries and reasonable driving distance to surrounding beaches and Cape Town. The only draw back was the air con. The listing says they have it and being from California we presumed it meant throughout the house. Unfortunately there is only 1 unit in the main living area and it just can’t keep up with the heat of summer especially at night when you’re sleeping. We also had incredible wind while we were there which ruled out leaving the windows open. And, this may be a non issue when it’s not summer.

Très belle location

La maison est situé dans le meilleur quartier de Gordons Bay, elle fait parti des villas les plus haut de gamme, très au calme, certainement une des meilleurs vue sur la mer et la baie entière. Vous êtes au pied de la plage, il y a des petits restaurant à même pas 5 min. Vous pouvez aussi aller faire vos courses à pied (10 min de marche) dans un petit centre commercial. L 'appartement est très spacieux , très confortable, il y a tout ce qu'il faut en vaisselle et électroménager pour passer un séjour tranquille comme si vous étiez chez vous. L accueille et la disponibilité de la personne de l'agence qui gère la location de la maison est excellente. Vraiment un bel endroit , sécurisant et agréable. Et surtout quelle vue !
