Beautiful home in the city of Soldotna. Close to the Kenai River. The home was very clean and comfortable and the host makes everything super easy and convenient. Home is in a nice quiet neighborhood that felt very safe (a city police officer lives next door). If I go back to that part of Alaska, that is where I will try and stay.

Overall we were very happy with the house. We were a bit surprised that there were almost no staples, that there were explicit instructions about not moving the furniture but the one chair was not positioned to watch the TV and the water outside ran for the entire week we were there right outside the bedroom. Not to mention there was constant dogs barking.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I’m disappointed to see your rating, as we take a great deal of pride in our home and work hard to provide every guest with a comfortable, high-quality stay. As soon as you let me know that the outdoor hose was running, I immediately contacted our handyman and then a plumber when our handyman was unable to make the repair. It was a light leak and unfortunately, during the busy summer season, it can sometimes take a few days to get a service professional to the property, but we addressed the issue as quickly as we could and we’re in communication with you. Regarding household staples, we do not provide food items for guests; however, as many of our previous reviews mention, the kitchen is very well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and other items needed for preparing meals. We do ask that guests not rearrange or move furniture throughout the home. Had you let me know that the chair placement was inconvenient for watching television, I would have been happy to work with you on a solution. I’m also sorry that you experienced neighborhood dogs barking, although unfortunately that is outside of our control, it is noted that the house is located in the neighborhood setting. Most importantly, I wish these additional concerns had been shared with me during your stay rather than after checkout. I make myself available to our guests and would have been very happy to address any concerns and do what I could to make your stay more enjoyable.

We decided to do a short journey across the bottom of Alaska beginning in Anchorage visiting Soldotna the surrounding area and a cruise out of Seward… We were lucky to get this house centrally located in the beautiful town of Soldotna, easy access to food, fishing and parks. The house was very clean, organized and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. It was in good repair and neighbors were friendly. We like their hospitality, leaving snacks after our long drive

Beautiful home, Loved the layout! VERY CLEAN! We had family over to visit while we stayed there and everyone RAVED about the house and how comfortable it was! Only wish our stay, in Soldotna and at the house, could have been longer. HIGHLY Recommend this property- You Won’t Regret It!!

Wonderful place to stay. I had to come to Soldotna for school and stayed here for a little over a month. The house is within perfect walking distance to the hospital for clinical rotations. It was the perfect home away from home and had everything I needed for an extended stay. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed my time in the home.

Everything was as listed … the recently remodeled property is fresh, clean and comfortable. My husband, who is very picky about beds, gave the master bedroom bed two thumbs up. We found everything we needed to cook meals and really enjoyed our time there with family members. We would certainly stay in the home again.

Beautiful roomy house

We had a wonderful stay here for Thanksgiving! We were a group of 5 adults and a 3 year old, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was lovely, very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. Would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was great

Beautiful, updated house that was very comfy and a great place to crash after a long day. Great coffee selection, a fun smart-fridge that my daughter enjoyed using, and comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Perfect Stay in Soldotna

This was a clean, well decorated, and spacious home for our family of 5. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was so sweet to leave us some goodies. We would stay here again.

This VRBO is located in a great place, central to everything. Beyond that it is a well appointed home that leaves no convenience out. With easy check in, easy check out, and frequent reminders and communications with the owner/host, the entire stay couldn't have been any more enjoyable

Great home with plenty of space

Excellent location, beautiful property, and plenty of space.

The property is in an excellent location regardless of where you are going. The property is newly remodeled as advertised and very clean. Our check in and check out process was very easy. Wonderful Visit
