This was a great property for our vacation needs. Location is excellent, within walking distance to beach and downtown, just as described. Communication with the host was prompt. Relaxing on the front porch with a cup of coffee was an added "perk."

Host was friendly and right amount of communicative. Fair check out procedure. Great location and toys/gear if traveling with kids. Kitchen had what you needed for a beach week. Space was tighter than anticipated from photos, and house felt a little more dated than anticipated, which maybe we should have expected given the age of the house. Felt like I maybe overpaid for overall experience, but I DID pay it, as did other bookers, so that is a personal problem/user error. Personally, I would go further out of downtown for something nicer next time and drive to the beach.

Betty’s & her home were beautiful, impressively clean, organized & well stocked. Just a couple blocks walk to the Main Street of town, restaurants, shopping, lake & beach in Elk Rapids makes the location very convenient. She responded to any requests immediately. We accidentally locked our selves out and before we were back from that days outing she had already replaced the key in the lock box for us My children and grandchildren stayed with us. Betty even had plenty of toys ready inside & outside, for my granddaughters. Some of our favorite times were on Betty’s large wrap around, covered porch for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening while the kids played.We will look forward to staying again for sure!!
