Overview

About the property

House, 6 Bedrooms, 7.5 Baths, (Sleeps 18)

This is one of the most amazing new 6 bedroom/7 bathroom homes on Hilton Head Island. This fantastic home with elevator is not only decorated far beyond expectations, but it's unique, for it offers three bedrooms with a king bed, two bedrooms with a queen bed, and a sixth bedroom with four sets of bunks for a total of eight twin beds, sleeping up to a total of 18! What a great room for all the children, teenagers, or young adults. Additionally, the fourth floor offers a grand panoramic view of the ocean. Not only are there TVs and beautiful private baths for every bedroom, lavishly decorated with stone and granite, there is also a seventh full bath.

On the first floor you will enter into a wonderful great room with a Tuscan theme exuding grace, charm, luxury, and comfort. The living area has a striking stone mantle over the gas fireplace, and above is a large built-in flat screen TV with DVD. Built-in bookshelves and granite counter tops flank either side of the fireplace. Over the travertine stone floor, found throughout the first floor, is an ornate living area rug surrounded by beautiful tapestry chairs, earth tone sofa, and sculptured tables. Everywhere you look you will find plantings, candles, ornate boxes, vases, and stunning lamps. Set along a large Tuscany painting, flanked by ornate candle sconces, is the massive Tuscan wooden table which seats 10 comfortably on eight elegant leather chairs and two high-backed tapestry chairs. Both the living and dining areas are set along windows, providing views of palms, pines, and oaks. The kitchen has country cabinets, stainless steel appliances including a wine cooler, and perfectly complementary brown-and-black-flecked granite countertop. Along the kitchen island are four breakfast bar stools and above the cabinets, adjacent to this incredible kitchen, is a glass-topped table with four carved chairs for additional seating. The first of six bedrooms is also on the first floor. Here you will find a massive king bed with tapestry chairs, tapestry area rug, large armoire with TV and DVD, and private bath with an additional hall entrance. This striking bath with a sink created from an ornate chest also has a shower beautifully decorated in earth-tone stone tiles and a striking ornate mirror. On the second floor is a stunning master with a suede king bed, unique mirrored-end tables, leather and wicker chair, marble-end tables, and an easily-adjusted, wall-mounted, flat-screen TV. The master bath is richly decorated with a travertine floor, which surrounds the walls along the spa tub. The dual sinks have black granite countertops and separate ornate mirrors; there is also a doorless multi-stoned shower. The third bedroom offers a queen bed with bold posts and ornate iron. There are matching end tables and lamps, and a TV atop a black chest of drawers. The private bath has a combination shower and tub. The fourth bedroom also has a black and brass queen bed with a unique black armoire, which contains a TV with DVD. Also found are matching end tables, separate chest, and plant prints. The private bath has dual sinks and a combination shower and tub. Completing this floor is the laundry room. Up to the third floor is another master with pineapple-carved king bed, wrought iron end tables, desk and chair, two sitting chairs, beautiful chest, and armoire with TV and DVD. Once again the master bath is stunning with black granite dual sinks, travertine floor, stone shower, and ornate his-and-hers mirrors. The final, sixth bedroom is where all the fun will be, for here you will find an unbelievable dorm room. Furnished with four sets of bunk beds (two sets along either side of opposite walls), this bedroom can easily accommodate eight. It also features a long table, for games or food, which can easily seat eight due to a cushioned, built-in window seat and four chairs. There is also a TV with DVD. There is a private bath with dual copper sinks and shower. In the event that more bathroom capacity is needed, there is another full bath down the hall that is not associated with any bedroom. Here you will find a shower and dual sink set amidst granite and stone. Also on this floor is a wet bar with ice-making mini refrigerator.

Up on the fourth floor, and out onto the walled-in roof top, you will discover the spa with a stunning view of the ocean, tidal marsh, and pine forest. Imagine being in your own little world under the sun or stars. This is a rare treat. Back to the ground floor is your private back yard with heated pool*, large gas grill, and wall mounted TV. Less than a block away is the town's newest public park with tennis courts, basketball courts, and baseball and soccer fields. Beyond the town park is the beach access with metered parking, which can be driven to in little more than a minute, bicycled to in three minutes, or chauffeured** to via golf cart dedicated to supporting this new community of exclusive homes.**This home is situated in a small complex of beautiful homes and offers a private golf cart shuttle to the beach Memorial Day through Labor Day, but does NOT operate on Saturdays.*

We were forced to rebook our vacation at the last minute and I can't thank you enough for being so accommodating for our large group. We were able to get our group of 14 from three different states into your house. The golf cart service to the beach was spectacular. We had more than enough room to enjoy the house, the beach, the pool and the area. We will surely be back to the area.

Lovely home with plenty of space for our 15 family members

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful stay on our 50th wedding anniversary vacation. We had plenty of room for all three families and two more friends(15). The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. We had an air conditioning problem while there, but they fixed it as soon as possible. Since they had three air conditioners, the other two kept our visit nice.

The pool was small, but nice to jump into to cool off. We spent most of our time at the beach. We would vacation here again when having a whole family vacation.

Great place for multi-family vacation with large gathering spaces as well as private spaces

  • 4 of 5

The house on Corine Lane met the needs for our sibling/spouse vacation on HH Island. Six Beautiful bedrooms all with private baths provided perfect private spaces. The open kitchen and living areas allowed us plenty of room for family activities. The huge dining table was awesome for group meals as well as nightly games. We used the golf cart shuttles heavily during the week as the walk to the beach, while doable, was a long walk when laden with beach chairs and full beach bags. The beach was as beautiful as I have ever seen on the Atlantic! So much to see, do and eat on the island! Fantastic! The two most underwhelming features of the rental were the rooftop deck, whose ocean views were totally obscured by trees; and the pool, which was so small and removed from any views that we hardly used either. Management was easily accessible and was quick to respond. Overall a great place to stay!!!

The house layout was great and located conveniently near to shopping! It wasn't quite as easy to get to the beach this time of year, but understand that golf cart shuttles are available during the summer months. With a tip from Beachside Getaways, we were able to operate the elevator. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Maybe the best feature were the 7 bathrooms. The "bath towel art" was a very nice touch. We had two maintenance issues upon arrival, which were promptly resolved by the reps at BG.

Due to hurricane damage sustained at another vacation rental, we obtained this rental less than 3 weeks before arrival. The BG staff was very attentive and communicated with us daily to expedite securing the house for our Thanksgiving week.

Overall, the house was well worth the price. One could tell it was a rental as opposed to a residence, but nothing major that would keep you from enjoying a week there.

Nice house, poor maintenance

  • 3 of 5

We stayed a week with 5 families- 10 adults and 11 children.

The good:

Plenty of room. Each of the 5 bedrooms has it's own bathroom. There's an additional bunk room with a bathroom and a separate "extra" bathroom. The bunk is actually is pretty roomy and the kids loved it. We were able to fit 2 pack and plays in the extra 3rd floor bathroom and a second floor bedroom closet is big enough for a crib. The house never felt crowded. Mornings in kitchen/ living area were busy, but there's a good amount of seating and it worked fine.

Reasonable beach proximity. The golf cart shuttle worked well. They were quick to come when we called or texted. Some used bikes, which also works well. It would be a long walk. There's parking at the public park as well, but be aware it's different beach access (down the beach maybe 10 minutes) than where the shuttle takes you. We learned that the hard way when some of our group drove and some took the shuttle.

Bike paths do connect this neighborhood to the rest of HHI.

The bad:

Maintenance is a real problem. I expressed my concerns to the rental company, Beachside Getaway. They were kind and sympathetic, but didn't really address the problems adequately in my opinion. I don't think the house is maintained- things just get fixed (or not) as they break. We had the following problems IN ONE WEEK:

-Broken fridge- took days to fix it, but never worked right. Was too warm often, and other times froze our eggs.

-Broken clothes washer- fixed by repair man

-Broken hot tub control panel- never properly fixed, though the repair man let him self in via the elevator from the ground level and never even communicated with us that he was in the house. We figured it out when we saw the hot tub water pouring in the side yard (which is actually an empty lot in need of mowing).

-Broken garbage disposal (clogged) and clothes drier (vent clogged)- fixed by my husband.

-Half working then totally broken toaster- told the rental company, but they didn't offer to bring us a new one.

-Pool never seemed adequately clean, though we had alot of kids in it and I'm sure some didn't rinse off from the beach as much as they should have.

Additional complaints:

-Many, many chipped coffee mugs, wine glasses, dull knives (we sharpened some), not the nicest kitchen supplies. The pool is totally shaded all the time and very small.

Overall we had a great week, but I probably wouldn't stay at this house again or another Beachside Getaways house.

This House Made The Vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

After driving 18 hours with 3 car loads, we were all anxious to see the house. We were immediately greeted by Alicia who gave us the tour of the house. This house took all of our breaths away. It by far exceeded everyone's expectations. The rooms were huge and spacious and wonderfully decorated. The 6 children that made the trip loved the "kids" room on the 3rd floor. Walking down the stairs to the kitchen area each day made us feel like movie stars!! Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The pool was perfect and the kids loved swimming at night. The walk to the beach was extremely easy and it was a pleasant walk with great views along the way. I would definately recommend this house to anyone. Thanks Beachside Getaway!!!

As promised and more!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a family reunion/graduation celebration - we fit/slept 16-people very comfortably. The house is laid out well (fantastic insulation as we never heard anyone moving around or talking or even toilet flushing!) and is very accommodating for large groups. I HIGHLY recommend!
