Highschool Senior Girls Trip

The Tides is a beautiful property with great access to the beach and not a far walk from the Broadwalk. This has been our 2nd stay here and we'd do it again!

Beautiful beachfront property

Our contact person for the condo was very responsive and helpful. The condo was very clean and we had plenty of space for our family. The view was spectacular from every room.

5 Days of Sunshine

The unit was very clean and spacious. The building was quiet especially since we were at the end of the hallway. Nice size for 4 adults. Had a relaxing time enjoying the beach during the day, cooking in each night and just totally relaxing. Jasmine was great to work with, and was especially accommodating to our needs.

Family Vacation

Loved pretty much everything about condo! Feel there should be cleaning supplies. Toilet bowl cleaner, everyday kitchen and bath cleaners. Also, rug in living needs replacing. Getting dingy and sandy.

Fort Lauderdale

This is my second visit to Hallendale Beach and Tides complex. The condo was spacious, clean, quiet, and as described in the listing. The original apartment that we reserved from the VRBO listing had an issue so the host arranged another similar apartment for us. The host also allowed a late check out. I would stay here again. The Tides gym needs major repair. The eqipment is rusted and broken. There is no sanitizer to wipe down the equipment.

Almost perfect

Great property. No issues with the unit whatsoever. Very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed (except a corkscrew, but we managed). Plenty of towels and blankets. Lovely balcony where we watched the cruise ships leave Ft.Lauderdale port each evening. Great communication with the property manager on both ends of our stay. The issues we had were with the building management. We’re not accustomed to paying additional for parking and building access fobs. Leaving a “security deposit” for the parking pass and having to leave ID at the front desk in order to simply use the luggage cart left us feeling like the building management simply didn’t trust us at all. Speaks to the clientele, I suppose. Also, if you arrive after 5pm (when the “business office” closes, you can’t get a fob (which you need to get into the building and to access your floor on the elevator). The front desk person needs to help you do that. Building management issues - not the fault of the property owner.

Very disappointed that we didn’t earn a 5 star review without you providing specific feedback. I wouldn’t have thought that the unfortunate situation where the building having a rooftop AC chiller fan malfunction would have affected how you rated our condo and our hosting. Unfortunately, as you know the situation was out of our control and strictly a building issue that affected the entire complex (over 300 condos) and was not a mechanical malfunction with the AC equipment within our condo. As is undeniable, we were extremely responsive and in constant communication with updates, progress notes and pictures of the work being undertaken by the Mgmt Association technical team working on the roof. Furthermore, unsolicited by you we provided you a very generous refund on your stay which was our good faith effort to acknowledge your inconvenience which was out of our control. The condo was as represented, clean, well maintained, elegantly decorated with great views of the ocean. Furthermore, as hosts we take pride in maintaining high standards which is reflected in our previous reviews and in all cases we are in constant communication with our guests and with you specifically as described above.
