Code wasn't working when we initially got there, but host was very responsive and was able to reset the lock within a few minutes. Screen or glass on the storm door was missing. Overall, the house was clean and updated and has great location to downtown. Would stay here again.

The house is beautiful inside and out. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for our stay. Absolutely loved the location five minute walk to downtown and to the Jet ferry to take to Put-In Bay. Good restaurants downtown and loved the coffee shop. The front porch and rocker were our favorite. Cool nights with great area just to talk and catch up. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if they were ever looking for a place in area. Wonderful Place in Port Clinton

This was a wonderful place for our adult family of four. The four bedrooms were very comfortable and the two bathrooms (one up and one down) were great. Both had showers and tubs plus plenty of towels. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful. The home is furnished very nicely with many lovely touches. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Port Clinton!

We traveled from out west to celeb ate my parents 60th and the rental was perfect for entertainment! Easily walked downtown and plenty of room for all to be together. The front porch created another living that we used the whole trip!

Great location for CMP Youth Camp and for enjoying the beach

Overall we were pleased with the Folk Victorian. It more than met our needs. I recommend either removing or repairing the storm door to the side/rear entrance to the kitchen. The fans and window a/c units also led me to believe we did not have central air and could not adjust for the two bedrooms with twin beds until Wednesday. I also found towels in the washer on Friday when I started my load as part of our check out.

Wedding visit to Port Clinton

This is a true home, with spacious kitchen and comfortable dining room, living room and bedrooms. The neighborhood is near the main street of Port Clinton, but quiet and conveniently located to stores and a short drive to Catawba Island. We were visiting for a wedding. There were five adults and an infant in our group. We would happily stay here again.

could use a deep clean

The house could definitely use a good clean. The basement smelled terrible (that's where the washer & dryer are). The soffit and gutters around the front porch are falling down/rotting. Other than the lack of cleanliness, the place was fine.

Keep in mind a railroad track is close to the house. It did not bother us because our home is close to tracks. Owner was great to work with.

Accommodations worked well for our group of 6 women. Wish could walk to lake, not all that close. Also need to arrange for or bring own propane for fire pit, so we passed and made somores in microwave. Basically worked for us since gone most of the time, just slept there.

Home Base for Fishing Trip

This property served us well during our two night stay in Port Clinton for a fishing trip. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The gas stove was a nice amenity for meal prep. There were five adults in our crew and we found plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements. We were able to relax in the evenings and catch some games through the host's YouTube TV service in the front room. We will not hesitate to stay here for future fishing trips to the area.

Property was everything it was presented to be. Lauren was very quick to respond to our questions. Would absolutely rent from this owner again, any time! The only very small detractor from the entire experience was the outdoor furniture around the fire pit was in a bit of disrepair so we elected to avoid the use of that area. Otherwise, top-notch. Five stars!
