Apartment to relax with a distant view

Our guests have access to an 87m² apartment with a covered balcony, large terrace and garden. It is easily accessible at the end of a traffic-calmed cul-de-sac. There is good parking and a setting for motorbikes and bicycles.
Recreation seekers, hikers and bikers will find the right starting point here.
Guests interested in culture can also easily reach places such as the Bergpark World Heritage Site, the Grimmwelt Museum and the Documenta in Kassel by bus and train.

For you we provide a complete apartment with two bedrooms, a large living and dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom in the basement. In 2018/2019 we lovingly renovated it and mostly equipped it with new furniture.
The floors of the living rooms consist of parquet and laminate.

You enter the balcony and the terrace from the living and dining room. From there you have a beautiful view over fields and the cities of Vellmar and Kassel, the lights of which have impressed many of our visitors at night.
You can also sunbathe and relax in our large garden.
To reach the separate toilet you have to go down 13 steps to the basement. There you will also find drying rooms if necessary and available. Since these are also used by us, an agreement is desirable.

We give our guests their freedom. We are often approachable because the apartment is right under our apartment.

The nearest larger supermarkets, the pharmacy and two restaurants are about 2 km away and easily accessible by the free local bus. The bus stop for this and a Chinese restaurant are only 0.5 km away.
Moderate travel times by public transport to Kassel main station in 16 minutes; to the center of Kassel in 24min. and to the IC train station KS Wilhelmhöhe in 19 to 33min. depending on the type of connection.

Excursion destinations and distances to: Wilhelmstal Castle only 4km. The World Heritage Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, the Hercules and thermal spa Kurhessen Therme about 11km, the center of Kassel with numerous museums u. a. the Brothers Grimm Museum 12km. The romantic small town Hann. Münden, where Fulda and Werra become the Weser, can be reached after 20 km on well-developed bike paths. Beautiful hiking trails can be found on the Hohen Dörnberg (579m high) 15km away and in the fairytale Reinhardswald 21km with the Sababurg zoo 26km. Hoher Meißner (754m high) 44km

The distances to the train station 1km, the tram connection to Kassel 2.5km, the airport Kassel Calden 7km, to the center Vellmar with ice cream cafe, pizzeria, grill, drugstore and shops 4km (3km on foot).

By bus and train:
From the IC train station Kassel Wilhelmshöhe and Hbf. Kassel you can take bus 100 towards Calden Airport to Espenau Schäferberg bus station. From Kassel Hbf you can take the RT1 train towards Hofgeismar Hümme to Espenau station. If you agree on the arrival station and time in Espenau, I can pick you up.

By car: Coming from the A7, take exit 77 Kassel Nord and continue on Dresdener Str. Towards the center of Kassel up to Holländische Str. Continue on / B7 / B83 towards Warburg until the exit towards Espenau / Wilhelmsthal, then towards Espenau.
Coming from the A44, exit 65 on the B7 towards Kassel until the exit towards Espenau / Wilhelmsthal, then towards Espenau.
