A Peaceful Country Retreat on 120 Beautiful AcresThis beautiful 120-acre farm offers a wonderful escape into the peaceful countryside of northern Pennsylvania. The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable, featuring a large dining and living area, oversized kitchen, modern laundry facilities, and a cozy gas fireplace that was especially welcome on chilly autumn evenings. Two exterior porches provide an additional escape to chill and relax.The property itself is the real attraction, with rolling hills, open meadows, a picturesque barn and silo, and grassy walking paths perfect for exploring with my dog. More adventurous guests can cross the creek to explore the higher acreage. The autumn scenery was spectacular, with colorful foliage, misty mornings, beautiful sunsets, star-filled skies, and opportunities to observe local wildlife.Mansfield is approximately 12–14 miles away for everyday necessities, while Elmira, Watkins Glen, Ithaca, and the Finger Lakes wine region offer excellent day-trip opportunities.The owner was friendly and responsive to questions. Parking is plentiful, although caution is advisable when exiting onto the roadway.Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures or simply a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature, this property delivers. My golden and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Pleasant stay in a comfortable house

The house was clean and uncluttered, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the gas fireplace, particularly on rainy days. The property was great for walking.

PA Grand Canyon

Located perfectly between the PA Grand Canyon and the NY Finger Lakes. Property had area for our dogs to run and romp. Host is very responsive and helpful. Home is welcoming and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

Perfect country vacation!

Everything was great! It’s like staying in our own private park! I loved seeing the wildlife in the field and my children enjoyed the foosball table! We all enjoyed watching the turtle in the creek! We will be back. Thank you!

Great Country House-Everything you want and need for a great stay!

We loved all the property and cleanliness of the house. LOVE LOVE LOVED the onsite laundry it helps to not have to pack so MANY clothes. We saw deer almost every day of our stay. This property is about 15 minutes from Mansfield. The only CON was it was right on the road. This is not the owners fault.. just a hard driveway to get in and out. The rest of the property was AMAZING our two dogs LOVED running. Great internet reception. Cell phone not so good. We would stay again!!

Nice clean place. Plenty of space

Nice place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful views. House is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Nice touch with a spotting scope to see the wildlife out back. Only complaints are, the upstairs gets really hot! The house has AC but it either doesn’t work in the bedrooms upstairs or something is wrong with it. There are window fans up there so apparently it’s a known issue. The house sits directly on the main road, so there is a lot of truck traffic/noise. The listing led me to believe it was tucked way back on the property. Enjoyable stay regardless.
