The lake house is in good location with large backyard and trees. The house is very clean and good location. We enjoy the time to stay and we will come back to rent again.
My family and I stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend. The weekend was fantastic - we enjoyed the property and the location of the house. The outside area was amazing and we spent a ton of time on the boat dock fishing. The host, Jin, is absolutely amazing and answered any questions we had very quickly. I HIGHLY recommend if you need a place to stay, we will definitely be back.
The house was really nice. The boat lift needs to be operational. There is not a good place to tie off a boat without risk of damage. Outside light attracts a lot of bugs.

Hi Mike, thanks for your input. In the listing, it is clearly stated "The boat lift is locked and reserved for owner usage only." We put this restriction because the lift cable was damaged by other guest before. we can not guarantee the lift works for all different boat.
We were incredibly lucky to find and stay at this house. With a group of seven, we had no trouble finding comfortable sleeping arrangements. The lake view was absolutely stunning, making for a perfect backdrop to our stay. While there were a few minor hiccups, they didn’t affect our overall experience. This place is an ideal spot to relax, especially in the summer!
Had a good time. The only drawback was the limited amount of seating in the living room.

Hi David, sorry to hear you don't like the furniture arrangement in the living room. As you can see in the property picture, adding more sofa may make living room fully stuffed - I was not sure whether everybody like it or not. Thanks for your feedback. I will reconsider about adding more sofa there.
The property is lovely. We were able to enjoy the kayaks and swimming in the lake. All the basic necessities were in the house. The living room was very simple and would have preferred couches so everyone could hang out together. When we realized the propane was empty the owner drove out to deliver us a new tank.
This was the perfect lake house getaway for our family. There was enough space for everyone to relax and be comfortable. The property was gorgeous and our younger ones loved exploring. Fishing off the dock was fantastic and we enjoyed cooking our catch of the day in the spacious kitchen. We savored meals both out on the dock and the deck taking in breathtaking views. The added bonus of the deck was that it was fully gated so our littlest could toddle around safely. By night we sang songs and roasted marshmallows around the spacious outdoor fire pit. Inside the large dining table became not just a place for meals but for drawing and board games. We loved the colorful towels for the kids bathroom! The house was clean, well stocked and wonderful. The host was amazing - responding quickly to any question I had and offering suggestions to make our stay even better. Overall it was a great place. There were some tears in saying goodbye and we hope to be back when the weather is warmer to swim and use the kayaks! Many thanks!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Vegetation MAJOR overgrown, Spider webs ALL over decking, outdoor furniture, fencing…everywhere
I paid for a deck that has clear view of lake with a small beach area to enter the water (as seen in the pictures provided on VRBO listing). I got a deck surrounded by jungle with knee high grass at the water entry level making it impossible to enter the water and enjoy the lake. The house deck was INFESTED with spiders. Every day I had to take a broom and knock them all down and hose off the furniture before you could sit on it. Due to all the spiders my son couldn’t let his 1 year old out on the patio. Only ONE remote to the entry gate at the drive made it inconvenient for 4 adults to come and go without coordinating who had the remote to open the gate when trying to leave the property.

Hi Brenda, Sorry to know that the lake house did not meet your expectation.
We have a routine mowing service but didn't want to disturb you during your one week stay. I hope you had let me know you want to grass mowed during your stay and I could arrange the service at that time.
We apply the spider spray outside for the complete house routinely and there are also ultrasonic bug repellers installed. The cleaning crew cleans the spider webs after every group of the guests leave. Unfortunately the spider is native to Texas Countryside and we could not eliminate all of them.
I thought one key/garage opener is the standard for short rental access. There are also key pads to operate the gate on both inside/outside the gate and we already provided you code. Our previous guests never asked for more than one remote. I will add more gate remotes and thanks for your input.
Thanks
We had a lovely time for a little retreat. Really enjoyed the kyacks and outdoor fireplace and docks. Saw lots of wildlife on the water. The house was clean and neat and met our needs perfectly.
