What a beautiful cabin! We spent a long weekend here over Easter and had a wonderful time. We rented a pontoon boat and explored the lake and even caught fish right of the dock. The hot tub was so nice also. The views were spectacular. We also went into town for Easter mass and brunch. It was a great weekend. We would definitely stay here again! Oh and the gondola was a big hit. It made going up and down to the dock very easy! We even got grandma out in the boat.

Beautiful cabin with great views. Lots of space for multiple guests. Very clean overall but was disappointed in the condition of the sofas and chairs especially for what we paid.

Thank you for your kind review of Magnolia Bay. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in the North Georgia Mountains. We would love to welcome you again in the near future.
It was a perfect location for a pre-wedding retreat for my son and his groomsmen. The property manager was responsive when we had one small issue, and had it resolved immediately. The house was very secluded and private. We loved it.

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope to host you again soon!
Some friends and I stayed for a weekend and fully enjoyed ourselves! I loved the boathouse dock (great for reading and sunbathing), and we had a nice fire in the evenings. The hot tub was def a plus, I'll def be staying again!
Loved our week in this beautiful house. Very well stocked kitchen, very clean, plenty of room, gorgeous lake! Road to get to the cabin is very narrow steep and tight turns, be aware of that if towing a boat for your stay, may want to launch before heading to the house. Our two families had a great time here and will be back!

Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us and for sharing this review! We are so glad you loved your week at Magnolia Bay! We also recommend that guests launch their boats and take them to the house by water before checking in to the house. Great advice! We do hope you come back and see us and we look forward to hosting you again soon!
We loved it! Just as advertised and an outstanding property. View, location, setup, etc…. We had a blast. The drive in was a little daunting at first for some of the family, but all got comfortable with it after the first few days. We’d certainly stay here again!
We very much enjoyed all of the amenities the house had to offer! The house was secluded and private, making it perfect for a nice lake getaway. There were a lot of stairs going down to the dock, but the motorized tram was a lifesaver! I would 100% recommend this property. The only word of caution I would give is to be prepared to drive about 2-3 miles on narrow dirt roads to get to the house. But they were well maintained, and we had a sedan make it there no problem.

Thank you for your wonderful review of Magnolia Bay. We can imagine how the motorized tram would be a fabulous thing to have going down to the lake. we appreciate you taking the time to send us your experience during your stay and we look forward to hosting you again.
We stayed at Magnolia Bay late summer, and it was perfect. Plenty of space and very clean. The teenagers especially loved the pool table and double decker dock. Dinner on the back deck each night was great, and the second refrigerator in the basement was a huge help (the one in the kitchen was not cold when we arrived, but we got it to work).
Thank you for staying with us at Magnolia Bay! We appreciate your taking the time to leave this review and we are happy you had a great birthday!. We hope to host you again soon!
Cabin was very clean, beautiful inside and out. The gondola was perfect for my daughter who was 8 mos pregnant. The lake was perfect for swimming and fishing. Even the grandkids caught fish. The fire place on deck was our evening ritual. We called property management twice to take care of some things, they were so very quick to come out. I would definitely stay here again.

The most beautiful fall scenery over a beautiful lake that is absolutely gorgeous.
This was everything you would ever want in a cabin with beautiful scenery and amenities. The only drawback was that the water pressure is less because of a being on a community well. However, the management responded by coming out and changing water filters which did seem to help. Loved this home!!!

The property is very nice and clean. The gandala ride up and down to the lake is wonderful thing. Definitely saved us older guys some energy. The only negative i have is the description says 10 beds and we only had 9 that we could find. It all worked out either way.
I was a little worried about a bad review I saw right before we arrived but the place was great! We were unable to use the dock. Eva use there were no hand rails down to the water. All but two of us were seniors.
I have two suggestions. Put hand rails on stairways, change double beds to queen sized and high rise toilets would be nice.
We used the yard to play games, the outside fireplace to make s’mores and ate all of our meals on the porch.
Weather cooperated…. we had a great time.
Love the property - Once you get off main road the gravel road is little sketchy and made me extremely anxious because it is a one way gravel road. We had a truck so I am not sure what we would have done if we ran into someone coming or going. The house was beautiful though - with great views from the balconies. We loved the gondola that took us up and down from the dock so we did not have to take the stairs. Very cool experience, and so convenient when you are carrying things. The house/dock is a quiet cove that is perfect for fishing, kayaking, or swimming. We loved the master that opened to fireplace on balcony, and the beds are firm with My Pillows. The floors were waxed and very slippery in dining room so we made sure to wear shoes or slippers while in the house. Other than the floors and the drive in and out, it was a very relaxing weekend.

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay despite the mountain road to the cabin! We hope to host you again soon!
We wanted for nothing! The home is spectacular in a quiet cul-de-sac. Nothing as peaceful as the back deck overlooking the lake in the mornings. The kitchen was very well equipped, even with coffee filters, salt and pepper. The instructions were clear that that might not be possible so I did bring my own but it was nice to see. Everything in the house worked properly. The beds were super comfortable the linens and towels were perfect. There was even shampoo, soap and lotion provided in the bathrooms. The instructions prior to check-in were on point. We didn’t have any questions because everything was so specific and timely. The dock was nice and the gondola was sent from heaven. When you’re toting bags and coolers back-and-forth to the boat there’s nothing like a little lift up and down that hill! My boys enjoyed the pool table the TVs their own kitchenette refrigerator downstairs and the hot tub. Everything was so nice and comfortable. It was absolutely the perfect family marinating getaway we wanted and needed. The grill might need a little bit of maintenance because we weren’t really able to turn it up to full volume for some reason. I’m not sure what was happening with that but we did manage to cook some amazing steaks and burgers so it all worked out

We have rented cabins in blue ridge thru VRBO 5 times. We have always had great experiences. This cabin was different. Beautiful setting, great cabin but cobwebs everywhere, black ants everywhere, cabinets, on the walls literally everywhere. In addition to that there is about a 12"×12" hole in the deck that they covered up with a piece of concrete. there are mutiple areas on the stairs to the lake that the rope railing was down making it dangerous for my grandkids to walk down. there are mant stair treads going down to the lake where the nails have worked themselves out and stand proud of the wood 1/4". My grandson caught his toe on one and cut himself pretry good. In addition to that, the power went out 4 out of the 5 days we were there causing us to not be able to enjoy the property. one time was due to a storm which i understand. the other 3 times, one being on the fourth of july the weather was good. My family ended up leaving the fourth of July as it was getting unbearable in the house without air. We were supposed to celebrate my wifes 60th birthday that night. The cake went to waste and everyone packed up and left for home at 10:30pm. The power had been out for 6 hours at that point. We made the best of our trip but was very disappointed we were unable to enjoy the property as we should have. I am not one to try and get compensation for issues like these but this time i feel it was reasonable. I asked for a 2 night credit but was offered $500
