Beautiful piece of property. Very clean cabin! We enjoyed our weekend and was so glad it was literally minutes away from Nada Tunnel! We enjoyed every minute giving our 2 kids our experiences of the RRG. They loved it!
This was a great location and we enjoyed the creek and the birds that visited. There was a little highway noise but we enjoyed the front porch, fire pit, and hot tub. Communication with the host was easy. I would definitely recommend this place.
"We just want to get away for a few days, rent a cabin in the woods and enjoy the Autumn foliage." Who knew that there is such a place to make such a wish a reality? After following the owner's directions of "turn right onto the gravel road just past the little white church", it wasn't until we drove through the tiny covered bridge when we both looked up to see our inviting "cabin in the woods" up on the hillside. The stay was magical. And I thank Justin for his incredible responsiveness through our stay! He knows the area and attractions well!
Road noise, cabin leans to one side, no river access, need better lighting to hot tub, bathroom floor need work, needs a queen size bed. Windows need work, only enough water for one shower, short one

It's a shame the cabin was not up to your level of standards. We didn't hear any complaints during your stay. Perhaps a more higher end and higher priced property is what you are after in the future? Road noise has not been a problem for our other 19/20 5 star reviews across other platforms. There is river access and a full size hot water heater. Bed sizes were clearly communicated in the listing. We can certainly improve the hot tub lighting for future guests and safety. I'm not sure how the windows affected your stay? Surely you can take these factors into account and change your review to reflect this feedback.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Nice setting, terrible cabin
Cabin in need of help. First off all the tile in the bathroom was broken loose from the grout. Was black mold above the shower on the wall. Wasn't one wash cloth in the whole cabin. Not even sure if cabin was cleaned prior to our stay because when we opened the microwave a swarm of fruit flies came out in a thick cloud. Inside the microwave was a half eaten plate of food that was several days old. The trash can walking up the steps to the cabin was overflowing when arrived. Do yourself a favor and don't book this cabin. Hopefully the owner sees this, you need to fire your cleaning service.
The cabin and location were cozy. I loved the water access. I did have some gripes. The grills propane tank was bone dry. I couldn't even start dinner. I messaged the host stating this. I was hoping they would be kind enough to apologize or at least reimburse me $30 for having to go pay for an exchange. They ignored my message which wasn't very professional. The fire pit chairs were broken and very flimsy. They need replaced. Two of the chairs had broken arm rests upon arrival. The cabin's mini fridge is way too small. Please put in an actual refrigerator - thank goodness we had an extra empty cooler to keep our ice in. The description also stated there is a full kitchen. However, that was not true. There is not a stove top or oven. There was only a small gas grill with one side burner (which I had to pay to put gas in to be able to use).
We've checked out.
Some feedback on the place.
There was still food left in the cabinets and freezer.
No blinds on the windows.
Infested with stink bugs
Water heater couldn't handle more than 1 person to finish a shower.
We brought more groceries than the fridge would allow.
The wifi that was provided was not correct. We used what was on the router.
The hot tub..... Couldn't use that until the next morning. Only one of us was able to use it. I don't know if there's something wrong with it or a button was pushed, but the temp went down on it and wasn't able to get the temp back up.
I did play with it again this morning. Operating instructions should be provided.
The mattress on the day bed was comfortable. With that being said, after stripping beds this morning, noticed the mattress is disgusting. Looks like dried up blood stains.
The cabin was quaint and cozy. It wasn’t too far from all the locations we went to!
We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the campfire. It is off the highway but you don’t notice all the hustle and bustle. Jenny was a great host and responded right away with answers to my questions. The location was perfect for the different areas we went to at Red River Gorge! Definitely relaxing and a vacation we won’t forget!
Cute little cabin. Very clean and made us feel so at home.
