Welcome to Tucked Away in Comfort, your home away from home, a spacious and serene ranch-style home designed for relaxation and family time. Nestled in a quiet subdivision with a peaceful lake just behind the property, this home offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and privacy.

Whether you are visiting with family, friends, or simply seeking a quiet getaway, we hope you enjoy the calm surroundings and the feeling of being truly at home while away from home.

Our home features 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, along with a full basement, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind.

Fayetteville Wedding

We had 10 family members stay in the home for a wedding. Lots of room, great kitchen. Found an outstanding restaurant Broadway Diner!

Horrible Plumbing issues. No AC Vents in rooms.

Landlord tried to make it a good stay. However, property was NOT rent ready by any means. There were leaks coming out of the ceiling into the bedroom below. On the 5th day the sewer started coming up the shower and flooded the entire downstairs where all the rooms were. We tried calling the landlord several times but they NEVER answered the phone. We had to call VRBO to get the landlord to come out. We had to move out and get another place, landlord wants us to pay for her floor and plumbing issues. No refund on remaining days. This house is unsanitary and we are considering sending the health department over there to shut it down. We are calling AMEX and initiating a chargeback and will sue the landlord & VRBO if we are not refunded the remaining days.

All interactions with these guests were challenging, as they consistently attempted to find fault with nearly every aspect of their stay. Despite my efforts to address their concerns, nothing appeared to satisfy them. At one point, I offered them the option to seek alternative accommodations if they were unhappy; however, they declined. It was concerning that their complaints did not begin until after they had already stayed for seven days. This timing made it appear as though the issues raised may have been an attempt to avoid payment rather than genuine concerns. Based on this experience, I would not rent to these guests again.

An excellent location - I wish it were closer to me!

I had such an excellent time at this house! It was entertaining for everyone I brought! My mom loved the gas fireplace. My friends enjoyed the big tv with comfy couch and the peaceful outside sitting area. My nieces and nephews enjoyed all the gaming options and the huge chalkboard! I loved the many options available in the kitchen and the extremely comfortable beds! But with all the great things listed above, the host made the experience exceptional! I wanted a DVD player, so she got one for me. She found out I had kids coming, so brought more games over for the kids. I had questions about the bathroom and she addressed them immediately! I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!
