Loved having you and your family stay. You were the first guests to see the new kitchen floor and the second to see our oak floors refinished and the maple staircase. In between each guest we work on another part of restoring this 1920’s art deco home. The west porch is next!!! Come

What a wonderful piece of Cleveland history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house, it is an eclectic piece of history that is appointed with unique pieces of furniture and light fixtures throughout. It is perfectly located between downtown and some of the west side hot spots for dinner and drinks. Lots of cookware, all kinds of bedrooms and towels. They have all the basics covered and lots of little extras.
Love the house with easy access to the city and walking distance to the park and beach. The house was very warm and welcoming with awesome communication with Susan. Would highly recommend this house for a large group.

We were happy to host you and everyone loves the front porch. You lucked out and having perfect warm weather that weekend because often we can have snow at the end of March.
We had very nice days in this house, using all the amenities and specially the barbecue. Nice rooms and kitchen well equipped. Location is also great near the lake. Thanks for everything!!
Great location. House had so much character! Susan was great checking in to make sure we were all set and offering recommendations for the area.

You were such wonderful guests!!! Loved hosting you for that big big big Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Induction. Thankyou for all the compliments on our antiques. no, you can’t have that special lamp. lol. The Hall of Fame is such a short Uber Ride- aren’t you glad you didn’t drive and deal with parking?
Really enjoyed the house. Great location and plenty of room for all family members.

Thankyou for staying with us with your sports loving friends. And for taking great care of the house too. We loved knowing that you had a wonderful time.
House is in a great location to the beach area. Nice walkable places.
House itself was awesome. Huge, charming and great art pieces. Host is excellent. I would come back anytime.
The house worked very well for our weekend gathering of 6. Everyone had their own bedroom and there are good places for everyone to gather and hang out. The house is quirky but that was fine with us and added to the fun!
We were. visiting family for Christmas - this home had plenty of room for all of us to be together. The host put up and decorated a tree just for us! We loved being able to relax together.
Fortunately, it was fairly cool while we were there. Many of the windows don't open, or don't have screens. The AC units reek of mildew. The windows themselves were filthy. Furnishings are old and tattered. The house itself has great potential and is in nice, upcoming area. 10 minute walk to the lake. I hope the owner fixes it up because it could be a fantastic property.

Thank you, for sharing your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the cool weather and the walkable location. I also appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving the home.
For future guests reading this, we have made many upgrades since this stay. We’ve added all new blankets and bedspreads, repainted the trim and ceiling on the back porch, refreshed several interior ceilings, and installed new flooring and fixtures in the second-floor bathroom. Now that it’s winter our plan is to replace the flooring in the other second floor bathroom. And the vintage kitchen.
Regarding the windows, many of them do open, and we are always happy to assist guests if a latch is unfamiliar or if additional screens or filters are needed. We also inspected and refreshed the AC units after this stay to ensure everything is clean and functioning properly.
This is a historic home in a wonderful, neighborhood, and we are continually investing in updates to make each stay comfortable. Thank you again for your visit, and I wish you the best in your future travels.
Ps. Thankyou for sharing that you enjoyed the crystal chandelier with the retracting fan blades in the first floor dining room. It was a splurge.
We had an excellent time at this sprawling Victorian home. So much space to meet together in the large rooms or break off for independent work in the many nooks and crannies. Plus we took frequent breaks to walk the path and look out over Lake Erie at Edgewater park, only 2 blocked away.

I'm so glad you all got so much writing done on your next book. I'm an author too of several books so I know how important it is to have a creative place to be able to write. We hope to see your book on the best sellers list.
Every time I come back to this charming 1920s home near Edgewater Beach, we notice more thoughtful updates and renovations. On this visit, I loved the new trim colors on both the front and back porches—such a fresh, welcoming touch. The outdoor furniture was fun and inviting, and all the fall chrysanthemums really brought the porches to life.Inside, the third floor has been set up beautifully. With a desk, a futon, a double bed, and a twin. It felt cozy and practical.I also appreciated that the window air conditioning units were still in place—it was a warm day, and they kept everything comfortable. As always, the house was immaculately clean and wonderfully organized. This home just keeps getting better with every stay, and I can’t wait to come back again.

Thankyou for noticing the improvements we’ve been making. The next time you return you will see a new bathroom floor and fixtures in the second floor full bath. And of course we are always working on decor upgrades and some fun things too. So glad you got to use the new beach chairs.
The family enjoyed the museums and the beach and the airshow
Enjoyed the house but need to look at the window on the second floor. It looks like There’s a broken window that will not close and won’t lock and possibly needs replaced other than that enjoyed ourselves
Our trip entailed 9 people from St. Louis, Denver, Charlotte and Boone, NC, to celebrate Thanksgiving. The host, Susan, was accommodating and attentive. She even bought a roaster for the property so we could make a turkey. The house itself is in an excellent location and one-of-a-kind. We would definitely consider staying there next year.
Traveled to Cleveland for a downtown wedding with three adult children and their SO's. Perfect quirky house to hang or find space, and a great spot with beach and park access, and ridiculously easy access to all things downtown.
We had a job in Cleveland and had to send 5 guys to stay. The guys enjoyed having their own bedrooms and the multiple kitchens within the property. There is a lot of space in this house. We would highly recommend as there is also a lot of parking onsite as well.
