It was very nice to have a full kitchen with plenty of equipment to cook with and a fridge to store food. The backyard was a nice bonus, with a family of bunnies that came to visit each day! Appreciated the laundry and the easy walk to Mayo Clinic, despite construction detours. Wonderful home with vintage charm and updated amenities. SO convenient to Mayo Clinic, just a short 10-12 minute walk. This is particularly important due to all the construction at mayo which makes parking a challenge. The home has amazing original features and also has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Grocery store is a 2 minute drive, restaurants are walkable or a very short drive.Tim was a fabulous host and we will definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area.

My name is Tim. My spouse and I have two dogs and two cats (they haven't been in this house). We currently live in Minneapolis and run a hair salon. I also work as a lab tech part time in St. Paul. When we are not working, we enjoy spending time at the cabin and traveling (especially NYC).

Why they chose this property

This property holds a special place for us. It's our first home and we lived here for 5 years. It has been a traditional rental property for the last 20 years. We almost sold it but decided to bring it back to its original beauty and charm and share it with the visitors of this city that we love.

What makes this property unique

This home is in a great location. You can see St. Mary's Hospital from the house and it's a very short walk. It's also a short 10-to-15-minute walk to Mayo Clinic downtown. It offers a comfortable and relaxing escape in a beautiful older home with the original charm. It's close to coffee shops, many restaurants and several grocery stores. It's a short walk to a walking trail.
