It was a nice house. Well cared for. Very nice view and great beach access. The only thing I would suggest for the owners is to maybe invest in a table and chairs for the deck that is pub-height. They sit up higher. This would allow people to sit on the deck and actually see the beach. The neighbors have a solid, unnecessarily high fence that blocks some of the view. Other than that, it was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great location and the management team replied back within minutes of me leaving a message. The only thing I can complain about was it looked like it hadn’t been dusted in weeks and one of the bathrooms smelled like pee. It looked liked they needed to clean around the base of the toilet.We would stay again. Wished we had warmer weather.

The home is comfortable with a great location. The property is well lighted at night. The frontroom was our favorite because of the comfortable chairs and awesome views.

Perfect location for east beach access

We have stayed in yachats a few times and this is the first time at Serendipity and we absolutely loved it! Beautiful home with amazing views. Perfect for the family and had super easy access to the ocean. We loved it so much!!

Perfect Holiday get away on the OR coast

A good location on the coast to beach walk, and investigate tide pools. Great restaurants while a quiet peaceful experience. Roomy, well furnished home. Would visit again!

Sweet Cottage with a great view!

It was such a wonderful lovely experience. I got this place for a mini getaway with my parents because it was my father’s birthday. The Manager of the property was super duper accommodating and friendly from the beginning of my stay to the end. I will definitely be back for some more adventures and am happy to have had such a wonderful host! Just want to applaud and thank them for allowing us to stay and enjoy the beach house!

Nice visit

We enjoyed this beach house. It is well equipped and comfortable. The view is great with a nice deck. The location is good, but the beach access is tough for older folks and old dogs.

This was the dirtiest rental house we've ever stayed in. One of the bathrooms smelled so strongly of cat urine that it was unusable. There was so much hair clogged in the bathtub that it wouldn't drain during a shower (the hair clump was clearly visible), and the tub jets and tile surround were filthy. There was one 8" frying pan, which was not only too small but still had food stuck in it. The kitchen towel smelled (other towels did not). The nightstand in the small bedroom had a sheen of dust on it as though it hadn't been wiped off for a long time, which I thankfully discovered before setting anything on it. The kitchen sink was unacceptably dirty and there were crumbs on the kitchen counter. In addition to the uncleanliness, there was a distinct air of disinterest in providing a decent stay. The TV was so small as to be laughable - more like a computer monitor that couldn't be seen from the couch & chair. There was a collection of old DVDs and old VHS tapes but there was neither a DVD or VHS player. The battery in the clock was dead. The light switch in the bedroom didn't turn any light on. There was a toy in the basket on the counter that was obviously broken. The buttons on the coffee maker were mostly worn down to be unreadable. The obvious lack of care about the premises led us to wash a load of towels BEFORE we used them and to wash every utensil, cup, etc. before using them. I will never rent from this company again.

Perfect Mini-Getaway

When we arrived there was a power outage and the management company was responsive and provided updates. Once the lights were back we continued catching up with our granddaughters. The location is perfect and so beautiful. It meet our needs perfectly. We enjoyed exploring local sites and relaxing on the coast.

Elderly parents coast trip

Very easy for them to access the limited steps and bedroom close to the bathroom. There is one step from the bedroom to the bathroom that they did not have any problem with. The view was as advertised and good. Access to the beach was not possible for them but can drive just up the road to Smelting Sands or Yachats for that. The house is dog friendly with a fenced yard which was great!
