This house was spotless! There were 4 of us staying for the weekend and this was the perfect spot for us. The house had everything we needed, plenty of linens and towels and the kitchen had dishes for our take out. (we didn't cook). There were kayaks and life vests provided but we didn't use them. Everything inside the house was so clean, which we appreciated so much.

We spent 3 weeks at the RIZZ. We had a very nice stay. The house was very kid friendly and had toys for little ones. All of the mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen came fully stocked and there were plenty of towels and wash clothes. The owners were quick to respond with the few questions I had. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of Thompson Lake. I would stay here again.

Why they chose this property

The Paddle Inn is on the canal of Lake Thompson and situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. It's tucked away in a residential area, but very close to the 96 business loop and historic downtown Howell. It's a nice retreat on the water that has amazing restaurants, pubs, and shopping close by.

Lake Thompson is know for great fishing. Connect to the lake from the back yard. We have 2 fishing kayaks and are close by the public boat launch. Amazing winter and summer recreation activities close by- Howell Nature Center, Lakelands Trail State Park, Pinckney Recreation Area, Mt Brighton, Island Lake Recreation Area, Kensington Metropark.

Downtown Howell is a historic district known for excellent restaurants, pubs, bakeries and shopping. The Sunday Farmer's Market showcases the best in the area during the warmer months. The market moves inside during the winter at the Howell Opera House. Outlet shopping is close by at the Tanger Outlet Mall.
