We absolutely loved this cabin by the lake! It was very clean, extremely well organized, and close to everything. It was very peaceful and quiet at night and the fire pit was a nice extra touch to chill out! Alan was wonderful to work with and very prompt with his response to everything. Our stay at the property was so lovely! The living area was more spacious than it appeared in the photos, and the outside area was so nice, including the view of the lake. The owners truly provided everything plus more to make the house seem like a home. Very organized and clean. We were sad to leave! Definitely highly recommend this place!

We LOVED this property on Island Lake! Super clean, well stocked kitchen! I like to cook and this place had everything we needed (even sharp knives)!! Alan was so easy to work with and made everything pleasant for us! All amenities listed were onsite and ready to use. Comfortable bed! The surroundings were great too! Quiet neighborhood, sandy beach, awesome bike and walking trails, lake was amazingly clean! I’m recommending this to other family members and we would love to return to this spot!

I grew up and went to school in South Lyon. My wife and I co-mange the property with my mom. She's at the house a lot when it's not being rented.

Why they chose this property

- Please Note this property is on a dirt road. Easily accessible and easy to navigate.

You are on a lake, in a wooded area – small animals, spiders and insects are part of the experience . We treat the house every month for pests to help control them, but you will see them.

Do not leave windows or doors open, all insects and some curious wildlife (squirrels and chipmunks ) will enter the house. If you have a pet, please keep it on a leash for their protection.

RULES

-We reserve the right to deny any bookings made by locals from the area. If you are a resident within 50 miles and wish to book this property you must share the reason for your stay. Determination will be made case by case basis.

-Parties must have a track record of 3 confirmed stays on the VRBO platform before they are allowed to book with us.

-Parties and events are not allowed

-Parking is street parking only (it's plentiful!). There is no off-street parking at this property.
