Welcome to Cowboy Retreat! Kick off your boots at this well-designed unit. Located just under 10 minutes from downtown Cody, you will see exceptional views of Heart Mountain, Cedar Mountain, Rattlesnake, Carter Mountain, and more! The interior has a spacious living and dining area and a full sized kitchen. The bedroom has a walk-in closet, beautiful wood furniture and an attached bathroom with a large walk in shower. Sit back and enjoy the fine cowboy details that adorn the walls throughout the rental! There is also a stackable washer and dryer for guest use. Out the patio doors you will find a private seating area with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ grill. You can enjoy sunsets from the back patio or even from inside because of the large windows throughout the unit! Wildlife such as owls, hawks, pheasants and more have been seen passing through the area. Depending on the time of year you visit you may be able to see cows in the field behind the house.

*This rental is attached to the side of the owner's home off the garage. It does have a private entrance and separate parking area.
*Disclaimer: This property does not have central AC but does have an AC window unit. At night temperatures drop to the 50s or lower, opening windows at night cools the property down and lets in the fresh air!

Home Away From Home (5strs)
This was an amazing little place. We absolutely loved it! The cows, horses, Hawks, Falcons and the pheasants were always something different to look at every day! Not to mention the Mountains and the sunrise and the sunsets were always amazing! You just never what to leave! They have the place so neatly decorated! It is so quiet! They were so nice! We LOVED this property. The owner was very nice and the apartment was excellent. The property was very clean and had very nice touches. We liked the apartment so much we didn't want to leave. We had coffee and breakfast each morning and didn't leave to explore Cody, WY until lunch. We loved the view from our windows and patio. Horses were next door for us to watch. We highly recommend this apartment and we would return here in a heart beat.

We had an absolute blast. Nancy and her husband were so gracious. The apartment was just perfect for us. Had everything we could possibly need. It was absolutely spotless. The view is beautiful. It's really just a short jaunt from Cody, close enough to get what we need but far enough away that we get peace and quiet. We'll definitely want to come back again. The Cowboy Retreat was a perfect base for a weekend away to recharge. just the right distance from downtown Cody (10min) for shops and restaurants, and an incredibly scenic drive (little over an hour?) from Yellowstone. The space was just perfect for the two of us, comfy couch and bed, well stocked kitchen, and amazing views. It was so quiet and dark and night, perfect for star gazing. We loved meeting the friendly pups and horses, too! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Fantastic Stay (5strs)
We stayed here for three nights on a North to South trip through WY and this was easily our favorite accommodation. Beautiful setting in a quiet, peaceful area, out of the hustle and bustle of the Cody tourist area but close enough to easily see the things we wanted. The apartment is very well appointed with everything you could need, updated appliances, fun Western themed decor, comfortable furniture and bed. Designated parking place, friendly hosts that also give you your privacy and space and loved meeting their dogs and seeing their horses. The unit has AC if needed, a modern kitchen and washer/dryer. It truly felt like our home-so comfortable, cozy and inviting. We loved our stay and would definitely return if we're ever in Cody again. And Cody Lodging Company was flawless-we had no reason to contact them, everything was already thought of, but had we needed to, I feel confident our issue would have been resolved quickly and easily. Can't recommend this place enough.

This property was everything it appeared to be on the website and more. The owners and property manager couldn't have been nicer. We used this as a staging area into Yellowstone for a few days. We even took a day off and went to the Buffalo Bill Museums. Five stars!
