About this property

House - The Lake House

The Lake House is an exclusive separate property located .25 miles from the main Longleaf Piney Resort campground and Longleaf Trace. The Lake House has two master suites. One suite includes a King bed and full futon that can sleep four with an ensuite bathroom and private deck overlooking our lake. The other suite has a Queen bed and full futon that can sleep four with an ensuite bathroom and beautiful view of our lake and forest. Both rooms are connected with a large common living, dining and kitchen area and third full bathroom. The kitchen includes an electric range oven and stove, refrigerator/freezer, stand-alone ice maker, on-demand drip coffee maker, and dishwasher. We also include all of your cooking and eating dishaware, drinkware, and utensils to make you feel right at home. Our dining area has a table to fit eight and a separate pub table that could fit another four. Our living room is walled with windows that overlook our beautiful lake and piney woods. We have two queen sleeper sofas that could sleep an additional four people. Our back door opens to our patio area that includes outdoor dining for six, propane grill and more comfortable seating options to sit back and enjoy the view. From our patio you can walk down to our waterfront dock if you want to be over the water. We are only .25 miles from the Longleaf Trace if you want to take a ride or a hike. The Lake House and property is exclusive to Lake House guests.

Great Host and Property

Newly renovated property, with good furniture/decor, felt fresh, clean. Property is secluded on a small lake and is beautiful. Master bedroom has an attached deck so you can privately enjoy nature in the evening. Propane grill works great and you can watch the lake while you grill amd not hassle with charcoal. Has a private dock and owner includes canoes/paddles/lifejackets and hammocks. There is decorative outside string lighting in both front and back of property for ambience. We use a lot of ice for drinks and water bottles and stand alone automatic ice maker was a godsend. There are bikes you can borrow for free to ride on the Longleaf Trace adjacent to the property. Property owner said hello in person, was immediately available to help when we didn't know how to get the washer started, and kindly responded to texts throughout. We had a competition at the convention center which was an easy 17 minute drive. Would 100% stay here again instead of in Hattiesburg or just to get away.
