The house was extremely clean and the host was so easy to communicate with. She had everything you could need. There were a few little items I forgot, but she had them at the house available for our use. This is a great house - you will not be disappointed!!!!

Everything was as advertised with this property. There were a couple small things we noticed that did not function as they should however they were not deal breakers and did not by any means ruin the stay. Everything was clean and ready for us and we would definitely recommend this property as a good place to stay in the area. If you like privacy then this place is for you . No neighbors close by at all. We were very active on our trip and the hot tub was awesome to soak our 50 plus year old muscles in after a long day. All sleeping quarters were clean and comfortable. Access to the property was very easy and we did not have any issues to communicate with the host but they were responsive when communicating about arrival and if we had any questions. Overall it was almost entirely what we expected and considering the price very reasonable.

Absolutely perfect!

This house is beautiful and we enjoyed it immensely! Everything was just as described and the amenities such as the high chair, pack and play and children’s dishes were a wonderful addition. Decorated with great taste with a very relaxing atmosphere inside and outside.

Coziest place ever!

This has been one of the coziest places me and my fiancé have stayed at. It really gave us an insight into our futures. The place was so homey and very welcoming and I would not hesitate to book this place. The owner was so kind to us and would definitely visit again.

Excellent place to stay

The house was spotless, beautiful, and peaceful. The hot tub was great. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. Very spacious with excellent attention to detail. Master shower had a very modern shower. Plenty of room for seven of us. Back yard was wonderful with lots of animals. We loved our stay at this house.

Perfect Secluded Getaway

My mother, mother-in-law, and I stayed here for the PA Farmshow and had a wonderful time! The house was easy to find with no close neighbors. It is so beautifully decorated! I baked a cake for the farmshow and the kitchen was so well stocked with a huge island perfect for preparations. The hot tub was our favorite part! Would be a perfect back deck for a summer getaway. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Family vacation

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO with our adult children and young grandchildren. The house is even nicer than in the pictures with lots of small perks. It is spacious and well suited for kids to safely play inside and out. After our day trips to nearby parks and Lake Tobias, we enjoyed the hot tub, making s'mores in the firepit, playing frisbee and taking walks up and down the gravel road. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We saw deer on the property a few times. The owner was gracious and prompt in responding to our questions. She went the extra mile to provide a vacuum cleaner for us, and quickly got the propane tank refilled. We hope to return and highly recommend!

Life's an adventure!!!

What a great place! Everything was a expected. But we certainly had an adventure!! We arrived after dark, during a storm. Unusually high winds had knocked out the power. The host was awesome about it. They kept relaying info from the power company about repair times. When it looked like it might take all night, they offered to help if we wanted to find a room for the night, even had some suggestions. When we said we were staying, they offered to bring over flashlights and batteries. The biggest plus for the place was the fact that sitting in front of the gas fireplace, in a house we got to after dark, during a storm, with no electricity, we felt comfortable and safe. would definitely consider staying again if we're in this area!

We came to this lovely place to have a comfortable location to relax after spending the day at the farm show complex. Our first impression upon entering was how clean and well decorated the place was. After being there for awhile we started to notice a few things that weren’t quite as well kept as first thought. Light bulbs were blown, one was completely missing downstairs; a few ants in the master bathroom, and the fireplace wasn’t able to stay lit. We contacted the host to advise about the fireplace and were told it had been a problem that they knew about but weren’t sure what was wrong. Hot tub had debris in the bottom (leaves and sticks), the basement bunk bed was very squeaky; so much so that the kids fought over who would have to sleep in it. The living room and a couple dining room chairs were very rickety so we were worried they would break when we sat in them. Finally the dishwasher was a nightmare. It looked as if there had been damage to it since there were dents on the inside of the door and the bottom rack did not pull out without falling into the bottom of the dishwasher. When open, the top dish rack kept sliding out while filling the bottom and the entire dishwasher wasn’t seated in the cabinets very well. All in all, the place was very cozy, and exceptionally clean, and we would stay again, but for the price paid, a bit more attention to regular maintenance should be happening.
Notice the gap at the top; this was when it was closed.

Overall our family of 6 enjoyed our 4 night stay in the home surrounded by farmland . Our family enjoyed time outside in the wonderful backyard making campfires and cooking s'mores. The hot tub was ok. Sadly the challenge in removing the cover and placing back on was not relaxing and sorta dangerous. But didn’t phase my kiddos. Hopefully a simple solution could fix the issue. Inside the home was very clean and decorated beautifully and comfortably. Making ourselves feel right at home quickly. The first floor has a nice open floor plan with a big kitchen which was great for cooking all our meals. The basement has pretty steep steps which made it too challenging for my 80 dad but the master was great for them on 1st floor. We pretty much all used the master bathroom suite because of the spa walk in shower. Inside a couple problems arose which we did bring to the owners attention so I’m sure will be addressed for the next vacationer. Our family did appreciate all the small details like books and games, ample kitchen, laundry, and bathroom supplies. During our visit we spent a day at Lake Tobias Zoo which from age 8 to 80 all agreed was so much fun! Also enjoyed Armstrong winery their grounds are beautiful and wine especially the blackberry was yummy!Overall give the house/area a 4 out of 5!
