ViehÀttÀvÀ Riverfront Mökki on upeat nÀkymÀt Susquehannaan

Rentoudu tÀssÀ viehÀttÀvÀssÀ mökissÀ, joka istuu suoraan Susquehanna-joen varrella. Astu takaisin yksinkertaisempaan aikaan ja anna tÀmÀn kaksikerroksisen talon kauneus ja viehÀtys, jossa on suuri kannen ympÀröivÀ kansi, josta voit seurata kotkoja lentÀvÀn joen yli. KÀvele oikealle alas veden reunaan ja nauti joesta telakallamme. Kalaa rannalta tai kÀytÀ yhtÀ 6 kajakkistamme Susquehannan ja sen rehevien saarten tutkimiseen. Talossa on 2 erillistÀ makuuhuonetta ja 2 suurta avointa parvi-aluetta, jotka tarjoavat vieraille useita sÀnkyjÀ (katso alla oleva makuuhuonekuvaus kokonaiskuvaa varten).

Joka vuosi olemme pÀivittÀneet mukavuuksia! Olemme lisÀnneet ylimÀÀrÀisen kylpyhuoneen ja pÀivittÀneet nykyisen kylpyhuoneen. Jaettu jÀrjestelmÀ Ilmastointi / lÀmmitys yksiköt on lisÀtty koko talon vieraiden mukavuutta. Uusi betonipatio on korvannut kivipatio, mikÀ on entistÀ mukavampaa viettÀÀ aikaa joen lÀhellÀ. Olemme laajentaneet ruokasalin kokoa, joka antaa vieraillemme entistÀ suuremman ruokailutilan ja tarjoaa upeat nÀkymÀt joelle.

Meille on helppo pÀÀstÀ - aivan 22/322 Dauphinista, lyhyen ajomatkan pÀÀssÀ kaikista PA: n nÀhtÀvyyksistÀ (Harrisburgin keskusta, Hershey Park, Gettysburg, Lancaster jne.). KÀtevÀ sijainti Central PA: ssa on tÀydellinen paikka tavata ystÀviÀ ja sukulaisia ympÀröivistÀ valtioista. Vain 25 minuutin pÀÀssÀ Harrisburgin kansainvÀliseltÀ lentokentÀltÀ. Uber-palveluita on saatavana alueeltamme, jos haluat jÀttÀÀ autosi kotona.

What a a great place to stay and fish or just jump in the river canoes kayaks just get your river on! Kids will love it and very safe flow on the river just beautiful! Lots of parking for drift boats and soo much outdoor space to enjoy its big but very cozy feels like your grandparents home you always want to come back too have no regrets renting this place kids old folks even wife will enjoy all the conveniences it’s got everything you would want. Shower products kitchen is tricked out with everything just bring clothes and some adult beverages and you’ll feel your home

Family Hershey trip

So happy we decided to rent this brb for our hershey park trip instead of a hotel. Everything about this property was great! Wonderful mesmerizing views and comfortable accommodations all in one! Pam was a great host and was able to meet all of our needs or questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend staying here, it meets the needs of anyone really, big groups/small groups, and its a quaint cottage surrounded with all the beauty in nature:)

Annual Spring Fishing Trip

The hosts are always very accomodating. This is my 8th year staying here for our Spring fishing trip. House is very clean. Nice porch to relax on. Large den to recap trip with friends or watch TV. Beds are comfy. Look forward to returning here every year!

Our stay was the 17th thru 20th.A family get together.A beautiful view.All very comfortable & clean.Pam was top notch with communication.I only wish there had been a dock, as shown in the listing.We were surprised to arrive & see no dock.My son left some clothes behind.Pam was kind enough to contact us about that.That was appreciated.Enjoyed the Firepit & 2 little ones enjoyed the s’mores!

The house was very cozy; we truly enjoyed our stay. If you are a family traveling, it's a nice sized home. Our only issues were the upstairs is completely open, you can hear everything going on downstairs when you try and sleep. The beds and pillows also have plastic covering on them, every time someone rolled over you could hear the crinkling. There was also only 1 television in the entire house, which was in the Livingroom. My father needed a TV to fall asleep, so he slept on the couch the entire stay. To our family these were small inconveniences compared to the view and outdoor space the property offers. I must also mention, I have stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this one had EVERYTHING you could need. The host was very generous with the amenities. I was thoroughly impressed by all she offered, from soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, fans available in every room, etc... You won't be disappointed if you stay in this cabin. It is not luxurious, but it's quite charming and I felt right at home. I only listed the other things, so people are aware before booking. I would hate for this fantastic host to get a negative review because people didn't understand what all the property entails, due to the little quirks you might encounter. I traveled with my spouse, 23yr old autistic daughter, 72yr old father and 17yr old daughter. We all loved the place; we would book here again.

Reunion picnic

Wonderful space with yard for kids, deck seating, picnic tables, dock for swimming, kayaks, indoor space for food, 2 bathrooms, 2bedrooms plus loft space with 4 beds, swing, and lots of chairs. Very clean, all the items that we could need. We will be back next year.

Peaceful getaway at the River Cottage

Our family absolutely loved this cottage by the river. It was so peaceful to sit on the porch with the river and mountains as scenery. Pam and Mike have supplied everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent getaway for families. Our adult kids kayaked and we floated down the river in tubes supplied by the owners. Would highly recommend this property!

Property was exactly as advertised. Owner was extremely responsible when we contacted her about a couple of minor issues. We kayaked and hung out on the dock, patio and porch. Peaceful and serene.

Beautiful waterfront location!

Loved the location. It is only 15 minutes from the Harrisburg yet it looked like miles away in the countryside. Good parking, enough beds for 10 people. We spent lots of time outside in the porch, just looking out the river and the mountains. We even took the kayaks to the river. I highly recommend. The owners were easy to reach and helpful.

Family Easter Celebration

Because we have family in three different states we decided to choose a place equidistance from our homes to spend a quality weekend together to celebrate Easter. The place is just as advertised, and because the owner stopped by to ensure everything was OK, and provided us with the address of a near by grocery store. Although it was somewhat cool for Easter, we were still able to sit outside around a firepit, and enjoy nature. Great stay, will try to come back when it is warmer.

Wonderful week!

We stayed for a full week with the full house of 11. The bedrooms were a little tight with 3 kiddos in sleeping bags on the floor, but everyone had space. Pam was very helpful! When we had an issue with one of the air conditioners, it was fixed within 24 hours. The dining room was the real star. Lots of room to eat, draw, and play cards. Wonderful floats and kayaks for the river. Pam really thought of everything we needed for the house, including condiments, toiletries, and pots & pans. We had a wonderful week!

I grew up Northwest of Pittsburgh in a small town surrounded by rivers and mountains. My family had a house in the woods, nestled in a hollow with a lovely creek running through the property. I spent my childhood outdoors, climbing trees, swimming in the river, and playing in the creek! I still love the outdoors (but no longer climb trees!) and have a house just down the road from this cottage. I have bees, chickens, and dogs, Daisy and Otis - a menagerie of furry friends that keep me busy and entertained. I am forever grateful to have my daughter, son-in-law, and my grandson living just 20 minutes away from me, and I get to enjoy them and their company often. I have been blessed with an amazing family and fabulous neighbors here on River Road and cannot imagine living my life anywhere else!

When I built my own house in 2007 and first moved to the River Road area, I fell in love with this cottage when I would walk past it. It was of course owned at that time by someone else, but I thought about how lovely it would be to own it myself one day. The house was originally built in 1939 as a summer home for a Harrisburg family and is filled with character!
The woodwork throughout the house and fabulous deck out back intrigued me, and I knew it would be a great place to entertain. When it went up for sale in 2015, I made an offer on day one! I knew I could give this cottage what it needs - some time/attention, a little love, and fill it with people who would enjoy the river and the relaxing peace this cottage has to offer. I hope that you enjoy this cottage as much as I do!
