Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

This is a downstairs unit of a duplex with no access to the top unit. Cute open kitchen area for cooking, attached sitting area with electric fireplace for mood setting. Separate entrances and separate outdoor space with beautiful private backyard area, with numerous relaxing areas, grilling set up area, fire pit and garden area with pondless waterfall for a relaxing sound. Entrance and backyard area with exterior lights for night relaxing. 10 minute drive to downtown Atlanta and numerous eateries 5 minutes away such as:

Our stay

Nice small place to have intimate game nights with a couple of friends. Grill and stove. Also fridge and stove to cook on your stay. Loved the quiet outside area.

It was okay. The property was older inside and could use a bit of redoing. Communication was overall good and the heat could have been better as it was super cold in the home. Other than that it was alright

1st time in Atlanta

Visiting for a week while my daughter participated in the Skills USA Competition. Property photos need to be updated. This rental was far from my idea of clean and because I was not familiar with the area the location did not feel safe for myself and my teenager. We stayed one night and left the next day. Check in was easy. Communication with property owner was good. Although this may be a great place for some it was not for me and my daughter, in my opinion.

Very misleading

Don’t usually leave reviews but have to in this case. We arrived and the unit was dirty, especially the kitchen. Food was in the fridge and the counter tops were dirty. Unit in general had a smell.. reached out to the host and didn’t hear back for at least 2 hours. When I reached out to support, a man finally arrives who wasn’t the host or who u communicate with within the app. He wasn’t able to assist & His resolve was to remove the food but no actual cleaning took place. The outside of the unit isn’t anything like the pictures on the listing and is very unkept.. don’t waste your time and money.

Disappointed

We only stayed for the weekend, but we were expecting a nice outdoor set up. But the yard was run down. Some of the boards on the deck was rotted. The fountain was running and dried up. The only silver wear was like 1 or 2 forks and they were dirty in the drawer. A lot of rules like no lotion before bed, if the remote was missing we would have to pay for a whole new TV. The ceiling fan and some outlets did not work. The refrigerator leaked. No food or drinks (not even water) was a loud in the bedrooms. The couch was broken and smelled like pee... I messaged them and got no response.

Just Say No

The listing is very misleading. The photos are not recent. Our selling point was the outdoor space; we were very disappointed as it was not maintained. The deck was dry-rotted. There were no chair cushion backs on the rod iron furniture. The body wash and rags of the former guests were still in the shower. There were rags stuffed in the air vents. The furniture wasn’t clean. The listing did not mention many rules—no cooking on the grill or using it in the fire pit. If you lose the $6 remote, you will be charged for a new TV. If you get lotion on the comforter, you’re charged for a new one. The door frame upon entrance was clearly kicked in at some point and never repaired. Most of the moldings are held together with foam. The unit was not clean, and no cleaning supplies were available. The steaming hot water coming from the sauna toilet is a conversation starter. Do yourself a favor and just say no. Don’t let the price and pictures lure you.
