Super close [2.2mi] to Newport & Huntington Beaches

Bike/Walking paths. We have bikes & Boogie Boards our guests can use for free!

Next-door to Fairview Nature Park a beautiful 200 acre nature reserve, Talbert Nature Preserve & the Santa Ana River Trail. Being so close to the park we do have a company that sprays for bugs and traps mice around the whole property and most guests don't run into any problems but being so close to such a big park their is always a potential.

Bike/Walking paths, Restaurants, Shopping, South Coast Plaza [3.8 mi] Fashion Island [4.7 mi] Orange County Airport [4.8mi], LAX [39mi] OC Fairgrounds/Event Center [2.5 mi], Disneyland/Anaheim Convention Center[18 mi], Fwys and coastal routes.

The Space:
Unique, cozy & clean; built into a ranch style house. Located on the borders of Newport & Huntington Beach. Next to Fairview Nature Park.

Guest Access:
Access is via private front entrance near private front parking.

The Neighborhood:
Situated in a quiet suburban neighborhood, offering a peaceful and serene environment for your stay. The property is right on the border of a sprawling 200-acre nature reserve, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities and nature exploration.

Other Things to Note:
This unit is part of a Ranch style house so please keep in mind not everything is perfect. Please be sure to check out our other listings! Great for large groups who would like to stay together on the same site! We would love to host your wedding or event!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was in a nice quiet neighborhood and great outdoor walking trails. The space was ideal with all amenities needed during our stay. Communication with our host was quick and easy, especially when we asked for extra support. Thank you for the peace of mind with easy check in and check out.

Overall good, washing machine didn't work but was able to use a different one on the property. No direct responses to questions via emails. It seemed like premade responses so didn't address my questions regarding where to park. Location for our events was good too.

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The beds were comfortable. The pullouts were not too bad. There were no blankets for the pullouts. I messaged the owners and got no response about it so we had to buy some blankets. Also the floor was a little dirty and one of the pullouts had sand on the mattress. The property was pretty dated and I heard rodents scurrying behind the walls.But I did like the location and the property was quiet and peaceful.

Bad experience

This property is dirty and run down. I would never stay there again. No water pressure, broken washer & dryer. Very few kitchen supplies & scary electrical plugs.

Weekend with Grandparents

This unit was perfect for my 70s-something parents who were visiting from out of state. They are challenged by stairs these days, so the single story layout was perfect. The kitchen and dining area were large enough for us to enjoy a few meals, and the location was close to everything we needed that weekend. They appreciated the privacy of the enclosed patio areas in front and back. I was impressed with the roominess, which is not captured by the pictures. Check in, check out and parking were super easy, and I know my family will book here again in 2024.

Unfortunate experience

Due to the lack of cleanliness, we messaged the host to which they were very receptive. But someone, unannounced showed up around 940pm and was very rude/unprofessional when addressing concerns. I was told that if i wasnt happy there, then i wouldnt be happy anywhere else either. We ended up leaving bright and early the next morning. The hotel we booked after this horrible experience, was amazing and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This rental is pretty much a dump. The walls have dirty smudges. The paint in the bathroom is literally peeling off of the wall. The light on the bedroom wall was barely hanging on. The property promised a washer and dryer, but the washer did not work. There was no grill, nor bikes, nor boogie board. The water in the bathroom and kitchen sinks dribbled out. After 3 days and reaching out to the property manger, then the owner the water pressur issue was corrected in less 5 minutes. Was told a part was ordered for the washer and we could use a community washer on the property. Was told a new handle for the toilet was ordered on Amazon (a Lowes was just down the street) and it would take a day or 2. These issues were not repaired by the time we left. We were provided 1 hand towel and 2 washclothes for the week. Some of the outlets did not work and one sparked when I plugged something in it. This property has potential, but unless the owner puts in some elbow grease, it is not worth renting.

The first thing we loved about this property was its location. It's on the Fountain Valley/Costa Mesa border, about two miles from the beach. It's at the end of a neighborhood right next to a school and feels secure and safe. We have a family of 7 with children from 1 to 16. We brought our own pack ' n play, and the kids loved the dual pullout couches and would all cuddle and watch movies at night. Our only critiques are: The toilet was messed up and wouldn't close after a flush, so we would have to pull the top part of the tank off and manually fix it so the water wasn't constantly running. Our other critique is that the washer and dryer (I'm mainly thinking the dryer) reeked of mildew/musty smell to the point of making all of our laundry smell awful. I guess a past guest may have left wet laundry in the dryer for a long time. Otherwise, this stay was excellent and comfortable, and fit our needs well. We would stay here again. The owner was very responsive!

Email instructions said one thing on how to get into house, but showing up at 11:30 at night there was a different situation. Couldn't get in house, finally found a man who claimed to be maintenance, they went into house. And it wasn't clean... the manager booked us another house 3 blocks away. We traveled by Uber so we had to walk at midnight to new house. Would not recommend booking this house. Although locations during the day it appeared nice, locations to the trail was amazing. Never would I stay with this group again.
