Holmberg House was such a nice retreat during our few days in Norman. It was full of the unique character you expect in a historic home! They have done a nice job of making sure there are modern amenities while preserving the unique history of the house. The place was very well-stocked with just about anything you might need during your stay (paper goods, towels, toiletries!). The location was incredibly convenient to OU, and we enjoyed walking the lovely neighborhood in the evenings. (There was a bit of road noise in the room closest to the street, but it was nothing the fan or a white noise app didn't cover up!) The second-floor rooms each had their own window air units, so the bedrooms stayed nice and cold. The host provided bottles of water and bags of ice, as I believe the water line in the fridge wasn't functioning quite right. No big deal, and we had more than what we needed! The back patio was such a nice area, and though we were there in early August, it would make a great place to hang out, grill some burgers, and catch a game on TV. Steve (Host) was excellent with communications and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction (We had zero complaints!). I would definitely stay here again & certainly recommend the Holmberg House to anyone considering it.
