Two separate Queen bedrooms, a Fully stocked Kitchen, a shared bathroom, a comfy Living Room, and a large, screened porch overlooking the River. Sit, Relax and watch spectacular Sunsets :) This Pet-Friendly property has a Big backyard with Plenty of Free parking and big enough to U-turn boats and trailers. Directly across Hwy 90 from the Atchafalaya at Idlewild Public Golf Course, with a Cypress built Country Club and Cajun style Restaurant, There is always activity at the Kemper Williams Park, plus the chance to visit the State-owned Wedell-Williams Aviation and the Cypress Sawmill Museums. There is plenty to do around here !! Come See for Yourself and Enjoy Life on da Bayou !! Don't forget, the World Famous Captain Caviar Swamp Tours on Location can fill you with History and Mystery !!! Bon Voyage & Cheers

Awesome home with a fantastic back porch! All of the amenities you’ll need are there, along with great fishing!! Captain John was very helpful and friendly!! We will definitely be back!!

The cottage is wonderful! The entire estate is filled with a remarkable history with stories waiting to be shared. I felt welcome the moment that I arrived And it quickly felt like home away from home. I left wishing that I could stay longer.

More than a get away ... it's an adventure!

Historic riverfront property with easy access to the highway and nearby attractions. Be sure to dine at the Atchafalaya Restaurant at the Idlewild Golf Course. The highlight of our trip was a guided swamp tour with Captain Caviar- beware the alligators and roogaroos!!!
