Beautiful views from this direct water/lakefront home on Fox Lake. This house sits high up on the lake with unmatched views of the Chain O'Lakes. Access on the property to water and boat pier. Large double deck directly on the property and lake. Boating, swimming, beach, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Newly remodeled. Large screened in porch and newly paved driveway. White kitchen with stainless steel appliances. 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch in the downstairs living area. 1 1/2 bathrooms. Upstairs and downstairs TV's with wi-fi. 2 fireplaces in both levels. Large built in bar with games and dart board. Washer/dryer. Large deck overlooking Fox Lake with furniture and grill. Downstairs patio overlooking Fox Lake. Large double tiered deck located lakeside. Close to downtown Fox Lake, trains, restaurants, and shopping and more. Nearby beaches, marinas, Blarney's Island, Volo Auto Museum, roller skating , movie theater, horseback riding, farmers market, pumpkin patches, apple picking, walking trails, nearby parks and nature areas, and more. Winter time adds snowmobiling, tubing, and skiing at nearby Wilmont Mountain Ski Resort. Lake Geneva is a 30 minute drive. Rent a boat or bring your own. Launch is closeby. Tie up to our 40 ft. private pier on the property.
The house also has outdoor security cameras at the front door as well as back lower door and back outdoor walkway to provide added protection as well as to check for arrivals and departures for housekeeping and maintenance services. While these cameras do add "security" please note that they are only outdoors and NOT monitored. We are pet friendly with an additional daily charge.

The lake house was exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and anything you can think of that you need the owners made available to you. The communication with the owners was wonderful as I had to reach out prior to booking since my husband was handicapped. Maria was wonderful. We even lucked out and were able to check in early. The lake views were stunning. Absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful cottage on Fox Lake. The view was fantastic from both the upper deck and the covered back porch. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a great selection of games to play, which is a thoughtful addition. The walk down to the water is a little steep, but very manageable. You can see the "old hotel" from the private dock, which was kind of cool. There are beach towels in one of the dressers -- another thoughtful touch.We traveled with our two adult children. Instead of using the upper bunk in the second bedroom, one of the "kids" slept on a sofa. (The sofa on the lower level pulls out and is super comfortable -- it would easily sleep two.) We also traveled with our dog who wasn't able to manage the narrow spiral stairs. When we wanted to spend time in the game room on the lower level, one of us would have to walk the dog around the side of the house to the entrance on the lower level. Not a big deal, especially since the weather was amazing during our stay.Having direct water access is wonderful. The house had a few water floats that my daughter used to bob around in the water. (We don't have a boat nor did we rent any watercraft, although I do wish we had access to kayaks or paddle boards as that would have been a fun activity.) But for us, just sitting on the dock watching the sun come up while enjoying a cup of coffee was bliss. We had a wonderful stay at Cora Cottage and would definitely recommend it.
