With one bathroom, this 3 bedroom house is perfect for a family. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking and serving on colorful dish ware.The location suited our needs as we were visiting family living about a mile away.As with older homes, the electrical outlets are not plentiful but we were able to use multiple rooms to plug in our gear.

Upon leaving we were 100% sure of the keys being left on the hook. The host called with a very rude attitude about them stating she could not find them. I went back to the property to look with her and she had left and did not return any calls about looking. Then against VBRO'S Policy she withheld 200 for lost keys. She has not responded to request for proof of replacing the locks and had shown no proof that she has a policy clearly stated in her agreement that she would charge for list keys.... both of which are required by VRBO.

Palmer Homecoming weekend

Great home and location! You will instantly feel welcomed and a bit nostalgic like a weekend at Grandma’s house. Home is clean and fully stocked down to farm fresh local eggs provided. Perfect family weekend - will definitely stay again!

The house is charming and comfortable. Lots of space for you and your guests. Located close to downtown. House is fully supplied with whatever you may need. I would recommend this rental.

Homey Home that art lovers will enjoy. Enjoyed the wood and craftsmanship throughout this beautiful Victorian home. Host is top notch ,easy to reach and deserves 10 stars. My wife and I have stayed for 31 days and plane to comeback next year. 1st time we have used VRBO or any others and will use again. They do not make homes like this anymore .

Cute centrally located home

I really enjoyed my stay in Davenport and she was such a great host. She made sure to stay in contact with me while my stay. The house cooled very nicely in the summer so that was nice for me as well. It was very easy to get to everywhere that I wanted to go. It was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home-host not great

The house is old and beautiful. We were very comfortable and the home is well furnished. We only really used the home to bathe and sleep as we were there for a wedding so didn’t use most of the amenities. However, the host is trying to blame us for a ceiling fan that no longer works that we never used. For a house that is as old as it is, you should expect to have to do some maintenance and occasionally replace things. While I understand their frustration - blaming and charging someone for something that we didn’t use was beyond frustrating for us and we will not be returning and would not advise anyone to stay here.
