Rustic & charming- Little Piney Cabin is located on the old Petit Jean road just below Petit Jean Grave Site. Walking distance to the Arkansas River. 1 1/2 miles to Petit Jean Grave Site. 5.5 miles to Petit Jean State Park.
Across the street in the small RV Park is our Private access to Arkansas river for fishing or just relaxing by the water.

This is the second time we have stayed in this cabin. Last year we had a wedding a cc look out and we stayed two nights . This year we had our first anniversary there and plan to do it for the near future.. would recommend!

We spent a full week in this cabin...and..absolutely loved it!! It's nothing fancy. But..it's cozy!! The shower is small..but..doable!! We did meet the owner...and..he is going to start remodeling. The cabin itself was very clean!! Kendra is a sweetheart!! Very peaceful!! And...great location for the park!!

Great place to stay for our spring break vacation!

This cabin was perfect for us over our spring break vacation. The location was great (just a few miles from everything we wanted to do) and it had everything we needed. It is only one bedroom but there was still plenty of room for Me, my husband, baby, two sisters, and three dogs.

Went for a quick weekend getaway with my family and it was everything I hoped for! Hands down would stay here again. It was such a charming property in the perfect location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook meals for my little crew, including skewers for s’mores over the fire pit. There’s a deck of cards that were perfect for teaching our daughter how to play rummy and the whole cabin was decorated like a museum so we were able to show our 10 yr old all of the “old timey” gadgets. The only thing that would have made it better was a bigger water heater and higher pressure in the shower…BUT that would not keep me from staying here again. Ms Gwen was a lovely host and was very responsive any time I had questions.

Our stay was amazing. We rented the house next door that has the guest house and this little cabin for a long weekend. My son got married at a local venue and we were able to have the rehearsal dinner at the house next door. We had the grooms family and all the groomsmen and their spouses stay with us. We all had a great time and a super comfortable stay!

The cabin was awesome! Exceeded our expectations. The chairs in the living room were so comfortable! Had everything we needed and even though there was a rv park across the street, with the trees it felt secluded and peaceful. Thank you for allowing us to stay there and we’ll definitely recommend it to others.

The property was covered in mouse poop including the closet, cot, the silverware/utensil draws, pantry and around other spots of the cabin. There was also soooo many daddy long legs…like EVERYWHERE. A draw in the bathroom was also full of water. The host did tell us there would be no internet before arriving, which wasn’t that big of a deal and she said she would knock a certain amount off of our stay for each day we don’t have internet. If it wasn’t for the holiday weekend and us bringing our dog, I would have found somewhere else to stay, but we tried to make the best of our visit. We had to go buy cups, plates and things to cook with as we were scared to use anything because of the spiders and mouse poop. When sending a message to the host about the bugs/mouse poop she no longer communicated with me. Communication was fine before then. We attempted to leave the place cleaner than when we arrived.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Close to all the things at Petit Jean Mountain. The cabin was clean and cozy and had all the necessities. The owners were very accommodating would definitely stay here again!

Small wedding

We rented this cabin for extra space when we had a small wedding at the Paw Paw tree estate and it was beautiful!! This cabin is adorable and provided the space we needed! It’s a short drive to the estate, it gives closeness to be with everyone but also a beautiful privacy as well! Loved it!

Weekend Getaway

Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again!

Perfect cabin but not exactly waterfront

Loved this place! Great decks! The dogs loved it! Walking down to fish was farther than expected. Hot is cold and cold is hot in the shower. Short drive to the park. Sitting around the fire pit at night you can really hear all those coyotes!

Cute little rustic cabin

The property looks exactly like the pictures. Cozy, cute, clean- all the things. The property it sits on is absolutely beautiful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on location and neighborhood was because I could see another property from the porch; but the other property was nice. The host is the very best! She was out of town and we wanted to check in early so she worked to make that happen. This property comes highly recommended.
