I’m so sorry when a unit is missed by the cleaning staff. On a busy campus weekend (Homecoming, Parents Weekend, etc.) we have many turnovers and very rarely do we miss a beat. This cleaning staff is exceptional.!! Unfortunately this night was one of those nights… When this guest arrived at Napoleon’s Nuk around dinner time and found it hadn’t been cleaned, I so wished he would have let us know. With cleaning staff a few blocks away, we could have gone right over and taken care of the situation. He did not reach out to me or my manager and decided to stay and clean it himself. We were informed the next day around checkout time, his frustration and dismay. This is a brand new cute little remodeled unit. It has a king size bed, full bath, laundry facilities, and a small sitting area with a fold down couch. It is likely one of the lowest priced stays, you can find in Bowling Green, especially on parents weekend. Pretty much everything in the unit is brand new -bedding, wall coverings, floor coverings etc. It also has electric wall heating units installed by a reputable local heating company and also has appropriate air conditioning. I returned the entire cleaning fee as soon as I heard about the mishap. This angry guest wasn’t happy and wanted his entire stay refunded. Told me he would report me to the city if I did not cooperate. When I asked him if he were so afraid of not being safe, why would he ever spend the night there? He had no answer. So tired of the small few who will do and say anything to get a night for free.

So sorry for your trouble! Unfortunately, we have a little trouble getting started with these new units but if you give us another chance, I will give you a free night. Please do come back again.!
