RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

We really enjoyed our stay. The facility was very clean and convenient. Brittany in the office was very helpful and recommended several local restaurants and attractions nearby for us to check out. Highly recommend them!

Perfect Getaway!

Peaceful and beautiful location

If you want a relaxing and peaceful location, this is the place for you. The place could use some updating on the inside but we were very happy with our stay. Will definitely be back here again!

The beach is at your feet as you exit the lanai. You are literally on the beach. Air conditioning worked great. This beach area was almost entirely ours with us sharing only with a couple other families. The only drawback was trying to check in after hours. This delayed us by about 15 minutes. We had an amazing visit and will be back!

We cant wait to go back!!

My wife and I had an amazing time in Longboat Key while staying at Silver Sands. Our unit was awesome the back screened-in porch had a path right onto the beach. Upon walking into the unit there was a nice clean smell. Everything was tidy. The room came with pretty much everything you needed for a nice getaway. I highly recommend staying in one of the two rooms that lead right onto the beach it was absolutely perfect. All of the staff was accommodating and very friendly. I also loved that the beach wasn't overcrowded in this area.

Slice of paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was spectacular to have an oceanfront room just steps from the beach. There was some storm damage and erosion from the hurricane but it didn't impact our view or access. There were landscapers on site actively cleaning up the brush. Our unit was completely remodeled and sparkling clean.

The beach chairs were always available. The unit was clean and completely furnished with everything we would need. The A/C worked great! All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Silver Sands and are excited about returning!

THe room was clean and stocked, but I feel for the price we should have received new game!towels everyday.We also had to mop up the water overflowing in the drain for the air conditioner and the TV in the bedroomwasn't working properly but the did come in and fix it the next day.
