Welcome to GoldenEye Estates! These two beautiful homes can accommodate up to 16 people! GoldenEye Estates is a new short term rental approved property. It is a combination of 2 gorgeous properties directly opposite from one another. They are GoldenEye Villa (on the beach) and Palm (on the canal), complete with a dock (for a fee based on availability).

GoldenEye Villa is a beach property that we have built for personal use and rental. GoldenEye Villa is new and frankly a paradise for all to enjoy. It is carefully placed 'smack bang' on 3 acres on the beach and we have just completed Palm, our canal property with a new dock that can accommodate up to a 65 foot boat. The inlet can draft 5 foot at low tide. Idling slightly center left of the inlet on entry is strongly recommended. There is also a marina less than a mile away from the house which is Knowles Marina. The sea is aqua color here with a flat shelf for swimming which is perfect. This little bay is very secluded, away from hotels and touristy interference. This serenely located property is a place where you can relax and play. Sliding doors along the back of the house ensure maximum views. Beds are 2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins and 2 full size beds in the annex. 3 bedrooms ensuite. 1 Room ensuite is detached (for extra fee). Master bedroom shows breathtaking sea views even from the jetted bath tub. Plenty of patio covered and exposed for outdoor entertaining surrounding an infinity pool. Now, also boasting, that this property has been rented by celebrities.

Palm is directly opposite from GoldenEye Villa is a new 3 bed 2 1/2 bath property on canal with dock and less than a mile from Knowles marina in the town of Freeport. It has access to dock through a canal from the Atlantic Ocean. Less than a mile from Knowles Marina. Washer and dryer for longer term guests. The beach is across the road and guests may have full access.

This location is incredible. Great pool and patio, private sandy beach (at low tide) and an awesome open space inside. Lynden took us everywhere we needed to go and was always on time and very friendly and professional. We had 10 people and rented both houses and everyone had an awesome time.

We had the best experience with Goldeneye! Michelle and Jenna were top notch! They were so quick with replies and answered all our questions. The house was absolutely beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. The property is well taken care of and had everything we needed. The kitchen is full equipped, bathrooms stocked with towels and even has a few starter items to get us started. The house sits on a beautiful beach and crystal clear waters that we enjoyed everyday. We also took them up on a few recommendations with hiring a cook and staffing. From start to finish we were so happy with our stay and enjoyed staying at goldeneye. I highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

Stunning beachfront oasis

Three families stayed at these two amazing homes and it was the absolutely perfect getaway during COVID. It is so private and well-appointed. The view of the ocean with palm trees doesn’t get old even when you spend all day there!! The kids loved the pool and climbing on the two rock jettys on either side of the practically deserted beach that felt like our own. It is a small strip of sand that only 2-3 homes abut so it’s secluded for sure. The kids found sting rays and fish. The adults enjoyed lounging on the pool deck and watching the sun set. We did a lot of cooking and found all the kitchen items we needed. The beds are very comfortable. The only drawback was the distance to the smaller home on the canal. Since the kids were staying there, it made us just a bit nervous originally as it’s across the street with neighbors on either side, one of which has a lot of car traffic in/out at night. We never had any problems though so we stopped worrying! Would highly recommend this gorgeous home!

Family vacation

We very much enjoyed the house and annex. We had 11 family members and there was ample space for us all. The pool and beach provided flexibility for all in the family and the view can’t be beat. The owner was very helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. The driver “Hayward was the absolute best keeping us all on track” thank you for a wonderful experience.

We got into the industry of short term rentals 8 years ago and have grown to enjoy renting quality homes inexpensive locations with extraordinary views to share with all of you. These are rare places where family can just be together, hang together and eat together without every day stresses. These are places to get away from it all.

Why they chose this property

The entire family has enjoyed coming to the Bahamas for over 25 years. We have been to several of the islands and they are all unique. We found Freeport to have that Island quality whilst maintaining a certain level of infrastructure with good roads and a selection of restaurants, grocery stores and unlike Nassau still very quaint and quiet. Freeport also has easy access as Freeport International Airport is very active (American and Delta fly here) and the Freeport Marina has a cruise ship which travels over night from West Palm Beach. Sunwing flies in from Canada, too. Or you can just take your personal boat over from Florida or charter a plane from Buzz.

What makes this property unique

Swimming on a flat shelf makes dipping your toe in the sea enjoyable. My husband and I bought 3 lots on the beach and built a house in the middle lot so that our guests could enjoy the 'beachy' feel all around them. The swimming pool is super long for the dedicated swimmers who enjoy swimming lengths and who wish to avoid the sea.
