Green Acre Stay

We stayed here for a fishing tournament on Smith Lake. It was close to everything we needed, yet in a safe neighborhood with plenty of parking for our boat. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a no frills place to stay close to Cullman. The host is super nice and responsive. I would recommend getting new beds, as all of them are very hard. The dishwasher also doesn't work very well.

Quiet and comfortable place. We only stayed 1 night but appeared to have everything you would need for a longer stay. Owners were quick to respond when we had an issue with the wifi. We are planning our next trip back.

The owners thought of everything. Very comfortable home with no negatives. Close to the Interstate and commercial area of Cullman. Owners even gave us a birthday cake! They are easy to communicate with and respond right away. We highly recommend this for your stay. It was very clean and had all that you might need. We would return.

Green Acres is the perfect “home away from home!” It is very cozy and comfortable, and has everything you need for a very enjoyable visit! The best part is the owner, Joan! She is always just a message away if you need her! She has always been very helpful and accommodating to us when we have stayed in her home.

Very good location, convenient restaurants and shopping. Property lives up to its name, my only regret is I wish there was a better outside seating area to enjoy the property. I sat on the front porch and in the garage with the door open, it would be nice if there was a seating area in the back. We still enjoyed our stay and visit with family!! Bonus was a beautiful hawk that came to perch on the back fence and garage in the morning

Hull stay

Joan was a pleasure to work with. We ended up needing to extend our stay and Joan helped to make it happen. Joan’s house is perfect for a couple We will definitely seek Joan’s home out the next time we come to the Cullman area.dogs, or a family with kids! It is very roomy and comfortable and doesn’t lack anything you might need!

Family visit to Cullman

We enjoyed our stay. Nice, peaceful older home with large shaded yard for walking our little dog. Comfy beds! Reminded me of my parents home in Cullman. Convenient location! Very close to Cullman where my sister-in-law lives - less than 2 miles. Very nice host who responded promptly with questions and requests. Definitely would stay there for our next visit to Cullman.

beautiful quiet home

I came into town for a family reunion in Cullman. My cousins from another state came in and we all stayed here. It is a beautiful and comfortable home. Clean, spacious and nicely furnished. (beds were comfy). Quiet neighborhood. Nice to have a garage for the cars. I liked that is was close to things, and was easy to get to where we needed to be. The big plus for me was that it is pet friendly. I have an old man puggle that goes everywhere with me. So I prefer a home vs a hotel. Note - the yard is not fenced but I walk my little dog so that was not a concern for me. It was a good reunion and extra time with cousins by staying together in a house was extra special. -- I would highly recommend this property.
