Still Waters Ranch B&B is located on a small ranch of 40 acres about 10 miles from Round Top and 12 miles from historic down town Brenham., Tex. If you want privacy, this is a great place for that. Enjoy a hot tub, a 400 year old oak tree, and fishing in a one acre stocked pond of bass and perch.

Incredible cabin with a super homie feel. Genuinely kind host with a relaxing atmosphere. Sweet dogs and curious cows made us feel right at home! Definitely plan to visit again!

We had such a good time sitting under the 400 year old tree, fishing at the pond, visiting the cows and playing with the dog Annie! Even if the pond is low from the drought, the fishing is great trust me!!! We caught bass and perch, it is a fun teaching pond for my daughter to learn how to fish for bass because they sure were biting! Walter is a great host, the muffins us feel welcome!

This was such a beautiful place and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a romantic getaway. The cabin/cottage is nice and the 400 year old oak tree is the most amazing tree that I’ve ever seen. The host was extremely nice and very accommodating. We’re definitely going back.

Walter was an excellent host. The pastries and fresh fruit were a sweet and much appreciated touch. The best part of our stay was the quiet mornings on the back porch and the quiet evenings around the fire. The cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. It was centered between Brenham and Round Top which worked out perfect for our anniversary getaway and shopping trip.

This was our second visit to the property. It was once again a quiet, peaceful stay. Walter greeted us upon our arrival, had a nice fruit tray in the fridge and muffin tray on the table. Hot tub was nice, sitting by the fire and Walter collected a bunch of wood to burn for us.

If you want to have a quiet place to stay in the country, this is the place to be. It was so peaceful! The owner had a tray of pastries and fresh fruit in the fridge waiting for us! The king bed is comfortable. The 400 year old tree in the backyard was breathtaking!!

Another Wonderful Weekend

We use this cabin about twice a year. We love the property. Friendly cows, great fishing, quiet and peaceful. A great way to "unplug". Walter is an excellent host. Looking forward to our next visit.

We traveled for my daughters wedding an didnt have much time for all the amenities. It was peaceful and quite just like we like it. The old tree in the back was majestic and beautiful. A nice pond if you are into fishing. The owner was very friendly and helpful. If you like the outdoors and country living this is the place. It would be great if it had a stove top for cooking but we managed. He left us fresh fruits and muffins when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Little Getaway

The little cabin was very cozy and clean. The views of the countryside were awesome, we saw a coyote, some deer and the two friendly cows. We enjoyed Sophie, the big, beautiful oak tree out back and the plentiful space to walk our dogs. Walter the Host was very nice and accommodating. We definitely plan to rent this cabin again.
