Lovely trip

We only stayed one night. Amazing little place. We got a stunning lightning/ thunderstorm, however the power went out for a bit. Only rec would be flashlights! lol the home was clean and cozy. I Personally enjoy a lot of pillows on the bed, so that might be something to consider! Otherwise perfect little quiet escape.

Olivia Bayhouse was very nice & clean!

Fishing get away!

Great spot for a relaxing weekend with my mom ……she loves to fish we had a great time together! The house is beautiful with everything you need for a great stay!

My Birthday Trip

We went on a trip for my birthday. We usually travel to Rockport for my birthday, but my father in law's place was occupied, so we decided to do something different this year. All I can say is that we had a great time and if your looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to go! We had a very great experience and we will be going again when we get the chance.

Great Fishing Stay

House was exactly as described! Very comfortable set up with all of the basic necessities and a lot of charm. Comfortable bed and couches were a huge plus, made it easy to actually relax and unwind in the evenings! Kitchen was great to be able to cook in and everything was fairly clean. Fishing pier was really nice to fish off of. Hooked up our radio, brought out our cooler, and spent several hours fishing off the pier. It was so nice to fish close and not have to lug our gear all over the place. Yard area was perfect place to cook on the grill and enjoy a nice dinner outside. Not many mosquitoes so I think we just got lucky. Nice vacation to just get away from the busy city and enjoy some quiet! HEB and Walmart were only about 20-25 minutes away so not a bad drive at all! Definitely want to come back!!

Fisherman’s dream

Relaxed out on the private pier and enjoyed endless hours of fishing. Caught an 80 pound gar, a 60 pound stingray, a 30 pound stingray, numerous catfish, and a few small rays. Truly peaceful. Ventured out to a few nearby towns to check them out and enjoy some good Mexican food. It was a great vacation. Would do it again.

We had an incredible time. The inside was recently remodeled beautifully and being on the water was awesome. We had fun fishing off the dock. We would gladly stay here again.

This was a very nice property, very clean and organized, newly remodeled, great shower, wonderful waterfront, private-pier. But, the outdoor grill was a disappointment having been left dirty and not anything I wanted to use, or clean. Also the neighborhood coming in to the property were abandoned homes some very junky. Made for a little less comfortable stay. The host was very accommodating and friendly. Overall we were satisfied but we chose to leave a day earlier than we planned.

Quiet and Relaxing

The property is just what we needed. There are cows right across the road. The dock out to the bay was new. TV worked great. Bedrooms were comfortable. House was clean. Owner even apologized for the scratches on the bathroom door. We live on a farm so those things we don't even really notice. If you need groceries the only nearby store is about 20 minutes away. Otherwise it was enjoyable. We had a relaxing visit.

Hidden Gem

What a hidden gem! We had a great long weekend at the Olivia Bay house. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Lucas was easy to communicate with which made our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed all the amenities especially the fishing pier and the back porch. If you like to fish and relax this is the place for you. We will be back.

Fishing get away

This was conveniently located next to Port Lavaca, and point comfort. The property manager was very nice and communicative with us leading up and after our stay.

Weekend Getaway

We just wanted a peaceful quiet weekend and that's what we got! Hubby did some fishing on the private pier and I enjoyed the view from the back porch. We had everything we needed! The house is very cozy. Hope to return for a longer stay.

Great place near Port Lavaca

Wife and I stayed here for a week and had a great time. The place is out of the way so very quiet and relaxing and we spent a lot of time fishing and just chilling out. Caught LOTS of smaller fish and a few bigger ones including speckle trout, sand trout, drum and 1 redfish; all from the private pier. There are also several nearby places to fish from shore and a boat ramp close by the house. If you forget anything Port Lavaca is a short drive away. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views with Private Pier for Fishing!

Beautiful property with great amenities! Really enjoyed the private pier. The porch had a great view of the bay. Perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails! The host was responsive to all communication. We had a great time and hope to visit again soon!

Amazing Restful Experience

This newly remodeled cabin is on a very quiet street, in the center of a very large lot on the bay. The private fishing pier is amazing with covered shade, electric, water, fish cleaning area, lights and green lights. The back porch is wonderful for morning coffee, mid-day lunch and evening cocktails. You could not ask for a nicer place to plan a getaway. Everything about this place was perfect. We would not only recommend for others but plan to return.

Awesome place to stay and kick back on a coastal paradise!

The owner Lucas was very accommodating and an amazing host. His home is beautiful and the snacks that him and his wife left were very thoughtful and I haven’t seen anything like that on this site so far. We stayed there for our first wedding anniversary and he and his wife truly made it special for us. I definitely won’t forget this trip and the memories! Great fishing for us and then we could come back to relax and watch some tv and unwind. The house is spotless and has a nice coastal modern touch. Lucas stayed in constant communication with us and frequently checked on us to see how our stay was.He did mention that him and his wife are new to hosting and that they could always improve. Well honestly I don’t see how they could do any better because I give this property and A+. Thanks Lucas and I will definitely be back.

Fascinating Beach Home w/private pier!

This fascinating beach home with a private lighted pier was over 100% awesome and relaxing and so clean and well put together! The owner of this home went well over his ways of making this home feel very welcoming and made sure to have everything you are going to need for a perfect stay! I guarantee you won’t find another rental like this one! We definitely look forward to staying in this beach home again over and over as we come to visit Port Lavaca! It has everything you’ll need for cooking. All you have to do is bring your own groceries! The couch turns into a bed for extra room for someone to sleep on! Two separate bedrooms, which are both very comfortable, and both have ceiling fans in them also the room also has a bed that has a trundle bed beneath that was very useful! The restroom is so nice And spacious & had plenty of towels! Nice covered porch in the back with rocking chairs and a pier that is lighted to go fishing on and also has a cover area on the pier and a cleaning area for when you’re fishing! The living room also has a very large TV that has cable so you can relax and watch Netflix as well! In the large garage, they have a washer and dryer, which was awesome because nobody wants to take dirty clothes back with them that smells like bait from fishing! It was a very quiet neighborhood, and we very much liked that! Everything is pretty much very well renovated the fridge does have an automatic icemaker. There is a dishwasher as well and stove and microwave and a crockpot and in the shelves are pots and pans if you need anything. Plenty of windows that allows plenty of sunshine in! Another amazing experience we had here on the private pier was watching the dolphins swimming back-and-forth, and we got to see a baby dolphin with his family, which was so amazing! And the fishing was really good. We were constantly catching different types of fish, and even a couple of stingrays! Sunset was so beautiful here too! The owner does communicate very well which makes this process 100% amazing because you always wanna make sure that you’re able to contact someone if you need anything and they’re able to assist you right away! I guarantee this beach beauty is going to be booking quickly! I shared it on my Facebook page showing family & friends our personal experience from it & I had lots of messages asking for the information to book it! 🎣🐬

This is our beautiful personal vacation home that we enjoy going to. We love beautiful sunsets on the back patio or catching fish on the new lighted fishing pier. We just knew we needed to share this newly remodeled home on nearly an acre.

The property is on a street with less than 10 houses. Sandwiched between acreage of pasture with cattle and Keller Bay. It's a peaceful place and great place to watch a game or the sunset. Fish with the family or start a fire.
