This was a beautiful historic home with modern touches on the inside. We stayed here a week. It was comfortable and clean. Communication with the host was fast and easy. There were so many things close by to do. We would stay again.

The Krause is a modern apartment in a historic building located right where I wanted to be in Eau Claire as it was near the bike trail, Water Street and campus. My daughter and I loved our stay!

Quaint Upstairs apartment

Very clean. Host very responsive with requests. Great A/C on a few 90 degree days. Great location. Felt safe. It is the entire upstairs of an historic home in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to main roads. Stairs are a little steep but manageable. Would definitely stay again!

The Krause

The property owner was very easy to get in touch with and he made all accommodations that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The VRBO was nicely decorated, well stocked, clean and modern with new appliances. Welcome gifts were left in the kitchen, which was a very nice touch.

perfect stay for college friends reunion

This place checked all the boxes for a college friend reunion. Location was very central to UW and downtown. very clean, and quaint. There are a lot of stairs to get to this apartment, so if you have knee, hip or issues with stairs, this is not a good fit for you. But this was a perfect place to stay and very clean and cute. Communication was great!

We've stayed in The Krause Home twice and enjoyed our visit both times. The apartments are clean, nicely furnished, generally well appointed and close to downtown and the university. My husband and I both like to read in the evening and early morning. There is only one bedside lamp in both bedrooms in the Krause apartment and only one lamp on one side of the sofa in the living room, making reading difficult. So, an already good apartment would benefit from some better lighting.
