This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with a full basement and attached two car garage! The home includes all the amenities including a washer and dryer in the basement.
This Lafayette home is located within 10 minutes of many tourist spots.
Gas, Grocery, and Food are just up the road, along with a hair salon and gym!
There is beach access to Lake Wissota as well as a boat landing nearby.
Leinenkugel's Brewery is located in Downtown Chippewa Falls, WI and is within 10 minutes as well. We have wineries and a micro brewery within 10 to 15 minutes away. We are also minutes from apple orchards and multiple golf courses. There is a carwash in the neighborhood

Jane was able to get the TV working. It was quiet and was close to where i needed to go. The neighborhood is friendly. It was just the right size for my personal retreat.

House was a perfect little retreat. Within blocks of a correctional facility, but easy to get to town.Upon arrival all the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. We had to wash them before using them. Very hard well water.

WI Northern State Fair

We were there to see Foreigner at the county fair. The property was 10 minutes or less away from everything we did. House was very comfortable. We didn’t know we could use the garage until we arrived and that was a great perk. We did not cook at the house but seemed anything you needed was most likely there. We fully enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Just as advertised…

The best part of the unit for me was the huge garage space; I was able to put my car, motorcycle and the small trailer I used to carry the bike up north inside. For the price it was more than adequate

Nice VRBO, but had a smoke/old home odor

Our family stayed for the weekend. Overall, it was a very nice home. The home was clean. The backyard was very pleasant and nicely maintained with flowers and a sitting area. There was no noise from the road to interfere with sleep, even though it was a medium-busy county road. Plenty of towels and dishes, etc. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because members of my family are very susceptible to smells/allergens/smoke/mold/etc. There was a remnant smoke/older home odor that was present. We brought and ran 3 air purifiers with us throughout the weekend in anticipation of this (we do this on all VRBOs that we rent). It made a difference in the main area, but not much in the bedrooms. I was relatively unaffected. My wife and children did not end up staying on the 2nd night because of this, however. Again, she is much more sensitive to this than the average person.

Perfect for our needs

This property was a great find for us! We attended a motorcycle rally that had two main host locations in town, and this property was situated nicely between them. It was nice to have garage access to keep our bikes safe at night. The home is well cared for and cozy. The host communicated well and had reasonable expectations. We would highly recommend this properly and would be pleased to stay here again.

Very Disappointed

First of all I would request a refund on our cleaning deposit, when walked in to house, it was filthy. There was dirt, sand and dust balls everywhere. Lifted up throw rugs in living room and kitchen couldn't believe what came from them. I washed the rugs and started cleaning floors in living room, kitchen, hall, bath. they had not been touched since who knows when. Moved couches, chairs tables in living room and found more disgusting things. Now about the bedrooms, in the owners notes it stated to take care of the newly carpeted bedrooms, not to wear outdoor shoes, these rugs were crunchy to the touch, I would where slippers it was so disgusting, I kept vacuuming almost every day, the bag less vacuum was filled each time. I kept washing kitchen, living room floors couldn't get them clean the dirt inbedded in them. When it rained there were rivers and rivers coming from the outside down the walls in basement, if they don't take care of this place it's going to fall apart. There is a nice front window but was so dirty couldn't see out of it, we found hose washed down the front of the house and windows, dirt unreal, washed the front window so at least could see through them. The yard is nice but no trimming close to house or around trees etc, the front sidewalk was full of tall weeds, we tried to remove but thought we spent all this money to rent and we are cleaning up this mess. So it took me 2 weeks to clean house, which also included dusting everything. Noisy road, trains.

My husband and I have lived in this area most of our lives and raised 2 children here. Its a small quaint town and close to stores, hospital, mall, restaurants, and of course the lake. My husband owns his own HVAC business and I run our business (AUTOSPA) from home.

This is our first rental property and so far we have rented to very nice people. We book many of these homes all over Wisconsin with our friends and families so we thought it would be fun trying it ourselves and so far so good.

Quaint little town, clean, quiet, slow pace, relaxing, do as little or as much as you want, plenty of restaurants , bar and grill, beach, wineries. Visit Chippewa falls chamber of commerce for information on what's going on in the area, I also have brochures in basket by refrigerator.
