Mannsdale Manor Guest Suite

We are offering a 10% discount to: Active military, Veterans, Law Enforcement. Please contact Pam for special pricing. At this time, we are not accepting long term stays in this space.

6000 square feet of farmhouse living. Ammenties include private suite, private patio, swimming pool and pool house, outdoor fireplace and organic gardens. We live in the old South so we endeavor to give our guests a taste of Southern culture.
We live on the premises.
The space
The guest suite is upstairs in the east wing of the house. Private suite includes 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and sitting/tv room. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 queen bed in each bedroom. The space has a refrigerator and Keruig coffee maker as well as snacks. Guests are welcome to use our Family TV Room, Kitchen, Laundry Room. Also, there is a private patio with outdoor fireplace as well as the swimming pool. The pool is open from May 1 through October 1.
In the summer, there is a lot of mowing going on so we hope guests will forgive the occasional noise of mowers and trimmers.
Guest access
Guests enter through the main front door and a key is provided. The guest suite is directly upstairs.
Other things to note
Our home is on approximately 5 wooded acres with lots of privacy. We do not have neighbors nearby. It's very peaceful outdoors with wildlife and gardens.

We are currently listing more of our short term guests in the guest suite in our home. However, the carriage house available for our longer term guests.

There is a $100/night penalty for each guest that stays overnight without the owners approval. All reservations require a 2 night min stay.

Cozy and convenient

The host was excellent - welcoming and attentive to any needs. The property and accommodations were beautiful. Was quiet and peaceful. The location was convenient. Restaurants, shopping, movie theater etc only a few minutes away. Great getaway!

Delightful

Madison is a beautiful city and this home was just lovely. Pamela is so sweet. We enjoyed the stay so much, we plan to come back and stay again when we are in town next.

Best Stay Ever!!

We rented this suite for me to stay in after recovering from a medical procedure (have a toddler at home so needed somewhere other than home). Pamela, the host, has been nothing short of amazing and the suite has been fabulous!!! Perfect location, clean, cozy and plenty of space. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Madison area!

Thanksgiving

Pamela was wonderful hostess as usual this was our second stay with her. She even let my daughter make a casserole in her kitchen for Thanksgiving.

Lovely Retreat

We were in Madison to celebrate several family functions. This was the perfect location - so convenient for all of our visits. The bedrooms are quite comfortable and private, separated by a nice sitting room. The two full bathrooms make it ideal. This is a gorgeous property, beautifully decorated. It is a very peaceful and lovely setting. Pamela is the perfect host and I wish our stay had been longer. She is so welcoming and considerate. You will enjoy many of her paintings hanging throughout, as she is a talented artist. It is easy to consider this listing as a home away from home!

Great accommodations in Madison! Our host was so welcoming and her two dogs were so sweet. The upstairs suite area is clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The house was quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

I am a working artist in landscape, skyscape, animals and people action pictures. My studio is in this space but closed off by barn doors. I bought this house from the sale of our farm in Arcadia, OK 11 years ago. My husband and I wanted to be closer to our grandchildren. My husband passed away 3 1/2 years ago and I run the BnB.
I have 2 rescue dogs: Liezl and Bill. They keep the property secure. However, we live in a very safe place so they lay around and eat too much.

We are not in a neighborhood. We live at the end of the road just inside the city limits of Madison, MS. We are out by ourselves but o my 3-5 minutes to everything you need in the City of Madison. We are dog friendly so our guests get a good deal on boarding fees. We live on five wooded acres and it’s a big yard. I mow it.
Lots of wildlife. The deer eat all the flowers.

We called this house the Ponderosa. We moved from Oklahoma and right into this place and it all looks the same. My husband and I spent a lot of time in New Mexico where I got the opportunity to paint with some rel own artists. I still paint in my studio here.
