Host was beyond accommodating. House was clean, in a fantastic area, and stocked with items that you'd rarely find in a rental. Would give 10 stars if I could! HIGHLY recommend! Perfect layout for adults traveling with children! Excellent stay and made family memories that will last a lifetime!

We’ve stayed at this cabin annually for three years. We are a group of friends who just get together to watch movies, lounge, eat, play board games, and have fellowship with one another. We look forward to it every year. We’ve stayed at this cabin the most, because it is beautiful and has a great view of a hillside with frequent wandering wildlife. Also, the cabin is always clean and comfortable.Additionally, Kayla has been very warm and personable in her correspondence-always kind, professional, and ethical.

One issue when we first arrived- there was no running water. I messaged the host and she replied right away and explained what happened and told me how to fix it (just flipping a switch) and the problem was solved. I appreciated how quickly she replied. It was plenty spacious for our group of 12. Plenty of beds to sleep in!

Great place to stay when visiting the Gorge!

The location to trails and town are great! It’s a very fun house, and our kids loved the upstairs area. The decks are amazing and we loved sitting out there any time of day! Definitely beware of the road in, as it can be a little rough, but it’s worth it for the solitude of this house.

Great Gorge Getaway

We went to the gorge with 2 other couples and all our young kids. It was the perfect location with an awesome game room, hot tub and firepit. The views and sunsets were amazing. Overall, the Honey Bee Hideaway was perfect for our group and we’d definitely recommend it!

This was a very pretty cabin in a beautiful location of the Red. We did have some challenges with water and communication with the host. Pros: gorgeous location and a very pretty Instagram ready house. Nice hot tub and well stocked kitchen. Cons/ area for improvement: We had issues with water supply and cistern. Leaky window was escalated to the host but no reply. The kitchen could use a pantry or food storage area which will be helpful for a larger group.

Exceptional!!! 5 Stars!!!

Absolutely beautiful cabin!!! My family came for a wedding that was in the area. We decided to extend our stay and make it a family vacation also. The owner was extremely pleasant and very easy to work with. We happened to come during a snow storm, which actually made it even more beautiful. The cabin was very clean and spacious with plenty of room for my large family. High recommend this cabin and will definitely be booking with this owner again if we are in the area.

Friendsgiving Success

Every year a group of us get a cabin and celebrate Friendsgiving in Red River Gorge. This was our fourth year doing it and *this* cabin was our favorite. The place was super clean, had all sorts of comforts and conveniences. Great hot tub, great view and location… also pet friendly. Can’t really beat that. I highly recommend this place for your next trip to the gorge/close to the natural bridge.

Gorgeous Cabin in Red River

We ended up with a slightly smaller group than intended so the house was plenty big enough. The kids loved the upstairs entertaining area and the hot tub on first floor was perfect after a day of activity. The house is alittle difficult to find but with the directions and google maps you’ll manage. The owner was always very prompt in responding and gave advice on places to see. The house was incredibly clean and well furnished. Definitely would like to come back.

We had a great time

Was a great place for a mini "family reunion." My mom's family equaled 10 of us. The teens slept next to the air hockey table. Everyone else had private rooms. Trickiest part was finding the place (Google said "you have arrived" at a fork in the road... then we chose the wrong fork... go right, not left), but you kinda want that in a cabin. Found a couple of trash items from the previous guests about, but nothing crazy. Otherwise the property (and most importantly, beds, towels, and bathrooms) was very clean.

Fun with family and friends

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! Our group was made up of high school, friends and their respective families. We had many different age groups, and everyone was accommodated. The location was perfect to anything that you want to do in Red River Gorge and even though we had a small problem with the water, the property manager was quick to answer, and take care of the issue so that it was not a problem for our stay, I would highly recommend this property and hopefully plan on staying again!

Checkin was delayed due to place still being cleaned. We were allowed in 30 min later and house still wasnt perfect. Trash cans outside were overflowing from prior guests and left for 2 more days. One day the water stopped working and Kayla (owner) volunteered to pay for our dinners for the incovenience since we couldnt cook at home or even use the restrooms. Several communications back and forth about it but when it came time to pay us back for the day of no running water (dinner), she ghosted us and wont respond. RRG is gorgeous, would definitley think twice about staying here though. Kayla was not a good host and certainly has no integrity.

Derby Weekend Trip

The property was beautiful, quiet, and close to 11, 15, and 715 making it easy to get to trails. We had 6 adults and all of us slept comfortably. We had plenty of room to hang out on the deck’s and watched the Derby race in the upstairs den on the giant TV! Kitchen had everything we needed. The road leading to the cabin is filled with large potholes. Drive slow! We had a truck and an SUV. We enjoyed our weekend and would stay here again.
