Welcome to the Thunderbird Lodge! Enjoy rustic luxury with all the amenities of home. A perfect get away. Enjoy the 27-hole Panorama Golf Course or stop in for some lunch and cocktails at the Clubhouse (open to the public). Just a few minutes to Lake Conroe and the Downtown Conroe Entertainment District. The Woodlands is nearby for abundant shopping and exquisite restaurants. Boat, Jet Ski & SUP rental and Lake Conroe access nearby. There's so much do here. This unique place has a style all its own that you will love! The neighborhood is pretty quiet, not a lot of traffic but you will likely hear cars go by, lawn services and there are dogs nearby.

Everything was very nice. Bathroom was very small and hard for 3 adults to use all together getting ready for a wedding. Very neat place to stay close to Conroe and Willis

Great neighborhood & very conveniently located

The accommodations were great. The house is very clean and comfortable. The close proximity to I-45 makes getting to and from surrounding areas a breeze.

I love to travel. I've traveled all over the world, mostly beach destinations but I love the mountains too. My favorites beaches are in Mexico and Hawaii but I love to wade fish at Surfside Texas for reds & specs. You'll also find me at local live music venues and area festivals.

Why they chose this property

I live 1/2 block away. I've operated this property as a long term rental since 2005. I made the decision to turn it into a short term rental in January 2022. Thunderbird Lodge is a unique style with the soaring ceiling, a wall of windows, exposed beams and rough-cut cedar so I knew it would be a great bnb experience for my guests. A complete remodel. I stained all of the cedar, replaced the kitchen & bathroom, plumbing, electrical, the windows, all new flooring and all new furnishings. Everything inside and outside of the house has been renewed, restored or replaced and it shows. You're going to love the place!

What makes this property unique

I call it "rustic luxury". It's a luxury home with rustic mountain lodge style features. The location is paramount to it's success since we're located just 5 minutes off I-45 in the Panorama Golf Club community. Lake Conroe, the Downtown Conroe Arts & Entertainment District, Sam Houston National Forest and The Woodlands are all within a 10-15 minute drive. With all of the events. activities and festivals that go on year-round, it's the perfect getaway!
