Highly Recommend; very secure

Beautiful condo, amazing pool! Property exceeded our expectations. Very secure and the security guard was very attentive to our needs and safety. I would highly recommend and would stay here again! Concierge was very helpful.

Great location beautiful accomodations

The unit we stayed in was clean and large and was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed and was just a small walk across the street to the beach. The pool was nicer than expected. Will highly recommend this complex and Tropical Vacations to anyone headed that way

Fantastic

My husband and I spent a week here. This is our second time staying in Matapalo 502. The condo is spacious with everything you need. The pool has to be one of the nicest pools I’ve ever experienced. Everything you need is within walking distance. The Sol Bakery has the best banana cake I’ve ever had.

Beautiful peopeety

The condos are located in the perfect area. The pool is beautiful and the access to the hotel and beach across the street is very nice. The condo is as described. Wonderful view and very spacious. We didn’t spend much time in the condo as we were always out and about, but it was a nice place to come home to. My only feedback would be to have a few more amenities- like a small amount of coffee for morning one and a travel size laundry detergent. Overall. - very nice place to stay.

Fabulous Tamarindo Oceanview Condo

Matapalo 502 was fantastic. The two-bedroom layout was very spacious and the furniture was very comfortable. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The balcony was wonderful for relaxing and looking out at the ocean and the pool. The property management company was extremely responsive, addressing issues immediately. They were also very helpful in booking dinner reservations. I will definitely return!

We had 5 adults staying in the condo and had plenty of room to roam. We felt safe and secure at all times. The kitchen has everything you need. It was nice having a place to launder our bathing suits after a few days. The location is quiet, but still close enough to walk to dinner. We did not use the Diria facilities, but the pool area was beautiful.

Tropical vacations booked some of our excursions and the drivers and activities were awesome. Felt very welcomed. Our only disappointment was that the condo next to us pulled down a shade on their patio totally blocking a large part of the ocean view in one direction. No one was even there so not sure why it was closed off.

Wonderful place to stay!

There's a saying - "if it looks to good to be true, it usually is". That doesn't apply here, as this place is truly a dream come true. It's not possible to get more comfortable and relax, and Joel helped so much with anything we wanted or needed. His recommendations to the local restaurants should not be dismissed - he was right on every one and we had some very delicious food. The grounds people were extremely nice and smiled when we tried our Spanish (as they tried their English too) and the pools were a fabulous way to cool off on a hot day or after a day long visit to the beach. Can't say enough about it - you won't be sorry!

Lola was absolutely awesome and such a pleasure to work with. She was always hospitable and responded to any and all questions in a timely manner. The property was absolutely gorgeous, clean and amazing views. We had a issue wit the toilet in the Master Bathroom. It was taken care of immediately after we reported the issues. RPM was absolutely fantabulous. I will definitely use them in the future!!

Excellent Location & Great Accommodation

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this condo and it was a great experience. The location of this place is amazing and provides easy access to restaurants, shopping, beach, grocery stores and everything that Tamarindo has to offer. I loved the large windows in the master suite and the pleasure of waking up as the sun revealed the natural beauty of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The view from the balcony was amazing and it was a treat to spend time out there every morning doing some yoga, drinking coffee and listening to the howler monkeys in the trees around the property. Despite being right in the heart of all the action the condo itself was quiet and peaceful. It was a nice benefit to have access to the resort pool/ beach access (with shower/ sand cleaning stations) and my children enjoyed making many friends and doing activities in the kids club. The condo itself is large and gave our family of 4 plenty of room to spread out in the evenings after a long day of fun. It is a rental unit and shows some wear an tear, but everything was 100% functional and it had all the dishes appliances (coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.) that you would need. The communication with property management staff was easy and they were very accommodating, even allowing us to get in a few hours early. The unit was clean and they even had a cleaning crew come through five days into our stay to freshen everything up which was a nice perk. Highly recommend and would return

Beautiful condo with a convenient location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an awesome 2 bedroom condo overlooking Tamarindo beach - it looks exactly like the pictures! We had no complaints at all. There were tons of beach towels and sheets provided so no need to bring any. There is a washer and dryer and coffee pot which we used but you have to bring your own coffee, detergent, etc. We had access to to Hotel Diria and went to the beach in front of the hotel many times and utilized their tour desk. The restaurants of the hotel are pretty bad, I would definitely recommend exploring others. The beach isn't that pretty- brown sand, brownish water, more for surfing. But there are other beaches you can travel to that are better for swimming and snorkeling such as Playa Conchal 30 minutes away. The condo pool was huge and beautiful with a swim up bar - we didn't even want to use the Hotel Diria pool. The condo is very centrally located with tons of bars and restaurants right outside.

AWESOME PROPERTY!

We are a family of 5 (children ages 14, 10 and 7). This property was exactly as described and perfectly suited our needs. The property is located within the Diria and it was great to have two pools and bars, a restaurant and beachfront chairs available. The property was well manicured/maintained. Having walked up and down the streets of Tamarindo many times during our stay, I did not notice any other property that had so much to offer! Location could not be better. Walk around the pool and across the street and you are at the beach. Walk out the back gates and down the road and there are bars, restaurants, shopping and a grocery store. The view off the porch was fantastic as there was a great view of the beach and all the surfers. Our friends stayed on the 4th floor, directly underneath and made comment several time as to what a great view we had. Safety was never a concern. Key cards are utilized to provide access to pools, the building and the property. Joel was very pleasant to deal with. He greeted us on the first day, offered suggestions for dinner, etc. and checked in several times during our stay--very accommodating! I would have no hesitation recommending this place to family and friends.

Great Location, poor service

We stayed this summer and had an enjoyable time in Tamarindo. Unfortunately our arrival was very disappointing. Although we had been assured the condo would be available for us to arrive up to three days early, and my husband and I both emailed Joel that we would be arriving between 4-6 pm on our scheduled arrival date, we were met at the hotel with Joel calling us by another family's name, and explaining the person who was staying previous to us was sick on the couch and was just now leaving. Since we had a car full of groceries we met him at the condo and waited for the cleaning ladies to arrive so they could clean the fridge and put our supplies in the refrigerator (this condo had been occupied well during the three days prior it was supposedly free). For a family of four we were given one key. The phone didn't work during our entire stay. The movies available (about five) were all in Spanish and the dvd player was not hooked up to work properly with the tv so that was a mute point. Josh did give good recommendations for restaurants and was fantastic when neighbors twice kept us up until 1:00 a.m. partying loudly. Of course we couldn't call him on the non functioning telephone, so it was not dealt with as quickly as we would have liked. The pool bar was only open on the weekends - but a lovely pool and phenomenal locations. The pool with the condos is part of the hotel but when we were there the hotel guests didn't seem to cross the street to use it. I'd definitely rent in these condos, just not with Joel as the manager.

Overall a great stay. We did have A/C issues but the property manager was very responsive in getting the unit fixed but we did end up having three nights of our stay with no A/C. Barbecue is a great asset but it wasn’t getting cleaned by the regular cleaning staff and there were no cleaning tools to be able to clean after use, could be good to add to the barbecue setup.Unit was great and resort amenities great, location best in town. Overall good stay.
