A great place to stay while visiting our son at college. The cabin was a great place to hang out and enjoy our time together. Tim was a wonderful accommodating host. Look for to staying again on our next visit
Amazing propery! Everything was wonderful, Thankful that Tim met with us for a walk thru when we arrived! The house was so quaint, and every detail was attended to. Loved the chickens also!
We loved it! I went with my partner and our pups for 4 nights. It was spacious, we had everything we needed and Tim the owner was great. We hope to be back!
The property was amazing. Great place to unplug and enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather. The back porch was wonderful to use. Our two large dogs loved the trails and all the property they could run around on. We will be back.
Tranquility. Wonderful setting with birds of all types. Wildlife pass through for some apples. Green lawn well cared for, shady spots, space to roam, felt like home. Screened porch was ideal for evening relaxation and when the rain cooled the summer heat. If you enjoy the outdoors this is the place.
We were there for Potsdam graduation. Beautiful property. We didn't get a chance to check it all out because of crappie weather. Property has everything needed for outdoor fun. If weather permits. Host is easy to contact.
We had a wonderful time! Large back porch to drink your morning coffee while enjoying nature, beautiful wood design on inside of home and large downstairs space with many windows to let in the sunshine. huge fire pit outback with great napping hammock. The owner was a genuine kind person that we could tell was proud to show off the home and unique features. Would love to return in the future!
We spent nearly a week at Tim's off-grid cabin and were thoroughly surprised at how warm and comfortable everything was. Tim's property was a real treat with his marked trails. He also checked in to see if we needed anything. This is a definite return the next time we visit the area. Thank you Tim sharing this cabin and property!
I rented this cabin for myself and dog to visit my son at Clarkson. I was alone yet felt safe comfy and at peace at this rental. The cabin is well stocked and the WiFi service is excellent for the mountains. The property has its own network of trails that we thoroughly enjoyed walking. Communication with the owner was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
This property is *really* special. The yard is a veritable natural paradise, complete with lots of wonderful birds eating at the feeders! Timothy built the cabin himself, and it is a beautiful, warm, welcoming space. Timothy is a great host, and was very friendly, hospitable, and communicative. I am already looking forward to my return trip!
the cabin is spacious and comfortable. the setting is beautiful, with trails and lots of birds outside. Definitely a great place to stay and explore this beautiful area.We visited for a short break and College graduation. Clarson is only 15 minutes away. All in all, it's a great location for relaxing and visiting the area.Tim is a great host. He greeted us to show us around and explain the solar system setup and he checked in with us to make sure all was well during our stay.We could not take advantage of the local trails because it was mud season and we hadn't brought boots.
We loved the cabin and loved that it was off the grid. The porch was our favorite space in the morning to have coffee and watch the birds and the wild life. The only down fall was we did not have hot water until the day before we left. Thankfully I had family down the road so we could take showers. Kim was helpful but by the time propane was delivered it was the day before leaving. Other than that it was a very peaceful, tranquil place and was very much needed since we were not there on vacation but there to surround my Uncle before his passing. The location was perfect for us being so close to family. We definitely will consider staying in the future as long as there is hot water.
