When we walked in the place looked pleasant. As we walked through the house we saw the couch was grey not white as in the pictures online (no big deal). Neither was there a rug by the couch, or decorative pillows. In the bedrooms there was no decorative pillows or accents at all. Just plain white bedding.Upon further inspection in the kitchen there was food particles on the counter & a bright red drop that was hard to miss. There were also rusty marks in the sink.The white dining room chair has a big stain on it & pink marker scribbled over the back of the chair & on a light switch. No one had bothered to clean it.The couch had not been cleaned & had a hair on it. In the bathroom there was a hair on the back of the toilet seat.The second bedroom closet could not be used because it was too close to the bed so the doors could not be opened.The washing machine was filthy with dirt on the lid & a thick layer of grime on the rubber.I immediately notified the owner. He did NOT send anyone to clean up. He just mentioned that he will put it in the housekeepers file (so they can clean it better after we leave which didn't help us at all).We used our own sheets on a couple of the beds. When we were leaving I took our sheets off the bed & noticed a large yellow stain (probably urine) & a hair. I feel relieved that my child didn't sleep on it but I feel disgusted that another child slept on the other bed with sheets that probably weren't washed either.
