If you’ve forgotten what quiet sounds like then this place is for you. Four bedrooms plus a loft and a pullout will sleep up to 15. Two bathrooms plus central air and fiber optic high speed internet. Beautiful sunsets from the dock. Pontoon boat and two kayaks are included as well as a covered lift for your fishing boat should you decide to bring one

Great Fishing

We spent a week at this property and had a great time! The fishing was excellent! Our kids do a lot of fishing, but we had our 2-1/2 year old twin nephews with and were able to get them their first fish, plus some!!! It’s nice and private without neighbors right on top of you like at many lake places! Will definitely be back!

Perfect Family Vacation with adult kids

Everything about the place was exactly what we we were looking for. It was quiet, lots of space, on a lake, and a pontoon. Steven was very quick to respond to all questions. Having a blackstone griddle, charcoal grill, and a pellet grill provided a lot of options for breakfast and dinner. The place had plenty of kitchen amenities. The place is great and we will definitely be back!

BEST family vacation!

Great location for a family. Our family had an amazing time. The property was perfect for relaxation, fishing, pontoon rides and lots of family fun. The firepit was great for smores and pudgy pies - firewood was provided. Kitchen was fully stocked. Cozy living room to watch a movie. We were able to play cards on the deck as well as relax and read books. Kayaks were another big plus as it gave another option for fun. Fishing was fantastic on Turtle Lake. Battle Lake is a cute town only 10 minutes from the property, offering coffee, shopping and food. We would highly recommend this property and are already planning for another trip.

Beautiful property

Great yard and access to lake, the cabin is full Of most things you’d need for the week. Quiet and worth every penny. Well maintained.

Expectations

The yard and Pontoon boat were the highlights. The cabin itself needs a big bomb thru out the house. We were eaten alive every day by spiders, fleas and possible bed bugs, my grandson had tracks on his arms The cabin needs a major cleaning from top to bottom. Beds were awful, mattresses were old and need to be replaced. We drove RT 4000 miles for a trip with family and we all agreed, it sucked.

The cabin was spacious & comfortable for 6 adults. We didn't lack anything we needed in the kitchen, cooking needs wise- we cook good meals when we're on vacation. There are many windows which open, & there are screens! The air was fresh & cool for our week, & the leaves started to turn while we were there. The views of the lake were beautiful, & the walk down to the lake was not difficult. There is space to swim with a sandy shore, & fishing off the dock was a success! We loved having the use of the pontoon for all of us to go out together. The lake is nice & clean, with very few water hazards. We met a neighbor, who was very nice. We walked the roads, which were calm & quiet. Communication with Steven was very easy, & check in/check out was simple. The large private yard would be wonderful for children to play. We did not use the loft at all, but it was nice when we looked up there It'd be a great 'older kid' hang out place for games or reading. Overall we were quite pleased with our stay.

GREAT location and great fishing

this cabin is in a very secluded location. We loved it! The lake is quiet and had little to no traffic. Communication was fantastic with the owner. There was a lot of cobwebs on the outside. (you are in the woods and this happens) while the cooking utensils appear to be well used they did the job. We will be returning to this quiet location in the future.

Perfect Relaxing Get-A-Way

Steve was a fantastic host, going out of his way to communicate and offer helpful tips. The property was peaceful and relaxing. Our kids especially loved fishing, swimming from the pontoon, and playing in the backyard. It's only a short drive to many great restaurants in Battle Lake. We definitely plan on coming back. Thanks, Steve!

Relaxing Vacation Spot

If you are looking for a rustic outdoor experience with no hassle or headaches, this is the place! Steven was great to work with. He was prompt at answering questions and resolved any issues quickly. The lake is beautiful and having access to the pontoon for fishing and recreation was great. There is no beach, but we knew that from the description and a small public beach was a short 13 minute drive away. The nearbybtown of Battle Lake was charming and had great restaurants. My husband is not one who likes to travel, but after this trip said this was his favorite vacation.

Wonderful vacation

We had every thing we needed! Very private and our two golden retrievers had a great time too! The pontoon was a wonderful bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides around the huge lake! Steven was very responsive when we had any questions too. The sunsets were spectacular and paddle boarding at dusk on a glasslike lake was the best! Thank you! Our host asked for suggestions so we had a couple. An anchor on the pontoon, and maybe clearing cobwebs just before check in would be nice. Overall, a wonderful place to stay! Linda

Relaxing by the lake

Property by itself has potential, the cleanliness wasn’t there for us. The windows haven’t been cleaned in a long while, cobwebs need to be removed inside and out. The cabin size was perfect, great space for everyone, it had everything we needed in appliances. The Bimini on the boat was broken and not operational, which we needed for our pontoon experience with our sun tolerance reactions. The three grills on the deck were great other than we had to thoroughly clean all of them to be able to safely cook on them. The view would be very nice if some brush and trees could be removed or trimmed. Would go back if conditions improved.

Family Get away

House is private and quiet, located on a quiet lake with water toys available for use (pontoon, paddle boat, kayaks) which was a big perk for us and greatly utilized. The house is well loved but maintained well. Being located up north and in the woods, understandably, things left outside were quickly covered with spiders/webs in a short amount of time necessitating frequently wipe downs and cleaning. Traveled with 4 adults and 3 young children, one who has special needs/wheelchair bound. The house comfortably fit all of us and our needs. I was prepared traveling with children to have plenty of activities packed for them as photos and the listing did not share games available, as well as the property does not have a beach like access to water. I share this not as a negative, I knew it ahead of time. I share this for other who may be traveling with children that there is not much for activity/entertainment for kids. Property manager was friendly, responsive, kind and flexible.
