Your Perfect 180º Beach View: The View from this 4th floor unit is breathtaking. Having the advantage of a corner unit, you can see all the way down to the inter-coastal waterway without any buildings blocking your view. This vacation rental is perfect for everyone in your group. If you love the beach, you are just steps away to sun, surf, swim, or walk on the beautiful beaches of Okaloosa Island. If you prefer to relax without all the sand, you can enjoy the beach atmosphere without leaving the balcony. This 4th floor unit is the perfect height for a gorgeous view and is low enough to hear the crashing waves that lull you into total relaxation! My favorite thing to do is to bring a good book and read, nap, sun, & relax on the balcony. I feel like I am on the beach, with all the conveniences of home just a step away. With Wi-Fi, I can even bring my laptop out with me. A convenience store & post office is less than a half a mile away and a sidewalk is provided on one side of the street for walkers and runners.

Okaloosa Island is the Gulf front beach community of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin. Okaloosa Island is famous for long sugar white sand beaches and emerald green water and is considered the best overall beach experience in the Destin area. Okaloosa Island is only six miles from Destin, without the crowds and traffic, due to its height limit of 7 floors (NO HIGHRISES). Come take a stroll on the Okaloosa Island beaches, play in the surf, fish from the Okaloosa Island Pier or stroll on the boardwalk. Bring your snorkeling gear, boogie boards, surfboards and windsurfing gear. Water recreation equipment and beach service chairs and umbrella rentals are available on the island. The island has lots of activity, including: The Gulfarium, water sports, fishing, shopping & plenty of nightlife & delicious restaurants. Other places of interest close by are: Big Kahuna's Water Park, Hang em High Parasail, Gilligan’s Watersports, & AJ’s Boats. Or just RELAX!

Enjoyed the sunny days at the beach, the view was amazing. The beach was easily accessible and the condo was close to resturants. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from the pier on beach at the condo.

This is an outstanding place to stay on the island. Just steps to pristine beach or enjoy expansive views from the deck or living area. Also, the unit is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen.

Location, Location, Location!

Great view and a great location. This was the perfect beach for our family. Not too crowded and we were a short drive to everything we needed in town. The condo had everything we needed, and we especially loved sitting on the patio in the mornings and evening to enjoy the view.

Wonderful Experience!

Connie’s condo was a wonderful surprise, complete with everything we could ask for. Quiet, clean, perfect location and roomy. This is the best condo we’ve ever stayed in by far! Connie was very accommodating and welcoming. We felt like we were family, not just guest. I can’t express how fantastic this experience was for us, but we plan to be back next year!

Fantastic April Stay at Connie's Condo

This was a fantastic and comfortable property, close to many restaurants and shops. It had an amazing view of the beautiful beach from the balcony. The surf seemed to be only 125 - 150 feet away. This April trip was one of our top vacations and the best beach experience ever.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have always enjoyed the white sandy beaches and emerald blue waters of Florida. I fell in love with the absolutely breathtaking view from this unit. Okaloosa Island is much more calm and relaxing than the crowds and traffic in Destin. So you can get away from it all and enjoy the serene beaches of Okaloosa Island that is just steps away from your unit or you can drive about 5 miles to Destin to mix with the crowds.

What makes this property unique

My favorite spot in this unit is the balcony. I love to read, nap, sun, and just relax listening to the crashing waves. I can enjoy all the beach atmosphere from the convenience of my balcony. With Wi-Fi I can even bring my laptop out there. This corner unit just has a beautiful unobstructed view.

My kids love that they can walk to the Tom Thumb which is less than a half mile away to get snacks or a movie.

My husband loves that he does not need to drive everyone around and can relax or go play golf.

We also love to take walks. We mix it up between serene beach walks and walks on the sidewalk provided on Santa Rosa Boulevard.

If needed, Okaloosa Island also provides a shuttle service.
