A retired man with an unique space to share.
Frederic purchased this Condo in 2009
Why Frederic chose Mill Valley
Great location in a unique town just a few minutes away from San Francisco.
What makes this Condo unique
Not only is Mill Valley an exciting place to recreate, shop and dine, it is also a great place to live. The Smithsonian Magazine recently called Mill Valley one of “The 20 Best Small Towns in America." Two national financial magazines, MONEY and CNN/Money, named Mill Valley “One of the 10 Top Cities in America in Which to Live.” What is special about Mill Valley? It is a blend of smart sophistication and charm; environmental consciousness and artistic accomplishment, rich roots and modern values. Its residents have an innate love for Mill Valley’s beautiful setting on the flanks of Mount Tam. Young and old, wealthy and middle class, workers and retirees, singles and families, you'll find all of these and more in our vibrant community. Mill Valley’s close proximity to San Francisco and access to Golden Gate Transit buses, which loop all the major roads in the area, makes it a convenient location for commuters. There are also many small businesses and start-ups in Mill Valley, and plenty of folks who work at home-based businesses. Its high quality of arts and entertainment keep it exciting for people of all ages. Its ready access to outdoor recreation, locally grown foods and wellness practitioners helps residents lead healthy, vibrant lives. Homes in Mill Valley range from hillside mansions with endless views to tiny cottages tucked up under the redwoods. Sometimes the two are right next door to each other! A sprinkling over 20,000 people have chosen to make greater Mill Valley their home. Residents enjoy its natural beauty, small town ambiance, culture and the all-around high quality of life. Many residents would say that they couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The result is an extraordinary citizenry: thoughtful, vocal and involved.

Cozy place in a nice quiet town
Had everything you need for a couple of days get away. Grocery store and Starbucks a block away. More than enough cooking utensils to make any meals you could want. Don't have plans of going back to California any time soon, but if I did, I would stay here again.
Perfect location near all the region has to offer.
A lovely property perfectly located for my purposes. Nicely appointed furnishings with interesting, sometimes funny and sometimes inspiring artwork, wall decor and photography (specifically a wonderful black and white photo of a streetcar with "legs"). Most of the kitchen appliances were great. The only problem for me was that this condo seems to have been designed for a very tall person. I am just shy of 5'4" and was not able to use the microwave without a stepladder (I did not use it at all although a stepladder was conveniently located in a kitchen cupboard). I was not able to reach anything above the first shelf in the cupboards without a ladder, but what I needed were within reach on the first shelf. The shower head was also made for a tall person as well--to move the head to the side so I could turn the shower on without getting soaked with cold water required an extra inch or a short pole to move it aside. I never found the manuals for the electronics in the unit (only for the fridge and oven) nor the printer that was supposed to be available in a closet somewhere (fortunately I didn't need it). That being said, the unit was comfortable and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in the area as it is located quite close to everything the region has to offer, including San Francisco, Muir Woods, Point Reyes and the wine country.
The micro-wave is located above the stove and if you are 5'4' that would be an issue. I do have a small portable step ladder under the kitchen sink for that purpose. I have no printer and the only electric's in the loft is the TV remote and the ceiling fan which is On & Off. Some of these issue(s) could of been resolved during Carolyn stay... but she never called me?
Great space. Very peaceful.
Frederic was a great host. He met us at the loft space when we had an emergency and needed to check in early. He was in contact via text if we needed anything at all. There is a Safeway and Starbucks within about 200 steps and the loft has everything needed to cook in the kitchen, etc.
We loved our stay and would definitely come back again.
A perfect getaway in Mill Valley
Look no further. This is a perfect getaway apartment in Mill Valley. Fred met me at the property and walked me through everything. Very comfortable, everything you need is close by. Plenty of restaurants and two grocery stores within walking distance.
I would certainly stay here again.
The Loft is very clean and well maintained.
Frederics' Loft is very comfortable, and close to shops, restaurants and transport.
Great creative space
I really enjoyed my time at this Artist Studio Loft in Mill Valley. It is well appointed and is a great creative place. It is walking distance to coffee shops, food, and shopping. And you can do all this in a place surrounded by nature.
Rated one of the most desirable places to live in America this small charming town is only a few miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. Settled in among the giant redwoods, the picturesque and almost quaint town of Mill Valley sits just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Nestled along Throckmorton and Miller Avenues, you will find shop after shop of some of the finest and often times most unique goods and services. From trendy fashions to old time milliners, the pleasure of shopping in this environment is only equaled by the local eateries. Home of the legendary Sweetwater where so often John Lee Hooker and Jerry Garcia have performed, there is a lot to explore in Mill Valley.
