This was the best mini vacation we ever had. Everything was excellent. We had a great time and we will definitely be coming back and telling all our friends!!
We really enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue when we first got there, sounds like there was some kind of miscommunication and the treehouse had not been cleaned but they were able to get it taken care of within an hour.
The pictures really cant do this place justice. It is genuanly an oasis in the middle pf the drought it utah. The hottub was my favorite part of my trip. If i had to change one thing the shower head is a little beat up but other then that this place is amazing.
This property is as close as you’ll get to heaven. The treehouse is just perfect. The Eagles nest on 3rd floor is the perfect place for any meal or playing games. This is our 2nd visit & my 6 year old is already planning our next visit. The yard is gorgeous - green lawn - beautiful flowers - a fire pit to roast marshmallows & a glorious hot tub. Definitely book this treehouse & you won’t be disappointed & we’re sure you’ll return.
Treehouse was amazing, what a unique experience! The bathhouse and hot tub were a huge plus. We are excited to come back and stay again, or maybe enjoy the hobbit hole the owner is building next-door!
The best place I’ve stayed at on VRBo. It exceeded our expectations. Every little detail in this place was incredible. The builder did such a beautiful job. He’s a really nice guy if you see him at all working on the new property next door. Landscaping was impressive and the hot tub was such a nice touch at the end of an exhausting trip to Grand Canyon/ Zion. 45 minutes from the airport the next day so location was great too!
It was such a fun place to stay! The tree house was so well built and had so many fun details. We loved the hot tub, all the lights, cute interior and exterior, the bridge, everything!
SUCH A charming, one in a million, adventurous place to stay! I'll tell everyone to go visit. One thing I didn't realize was the limited access to drinking water. There was a small sink inside the cabin, but I didn't see a place to drink., so bring water bottles! There's a bathroom located outside the Treehouse with showers, washer and dryer, and sink there. But you have to go done the bridge to get there. Just good to know, but it's a fun thing so I'm not complaining! Hehe the host was so friendly and was very proud and excited to see guests! Awesome hot tub, two fires (one pit and one on the table), and nice grass to run around on. Highly recommended!!
John was fantastic. He's genuinely kind and helpful. He gave us a tour of the Hobbit House he's building next door. The treehouse and grounds were magical. It's so pretty no matter the time of day. We stayed during the heat wave and the A/C units ran 24/7. It was loud and 3/5 of us struggled to sleep with the noise and the pillows were flat. So, the next time we come we'll come when it's cooler so it's quieter when we're trying to sleep! It would be amazing to have some outdoor games available as well. We ended up going to the rodeo and then a little hot tubbing afterwards. Other than that, it was amazing and we plan to return.
The Fantasy Treehouse was a really fun place to stay and so cute! I was really impressed on how clean it was! It was fun to be able spend some time outside in the warm hot tub on a cold night! Fun yard set up We really enjoyed our stay
Facilities and grounds were beautiful and clean. My wife loved the tree house experience. John was a gracious host and showed us the Hobbit House to open in the future.
Fun and clean place! We made long lasting family memories.

Hi! I’m John, the Host of The Fantasy Treehouse and Resort. I’m supposedly retired, haha, but work as hard now as ever! I’m retired from the Aerospace company of Lockheed Martin. My dad was a pilot in the U S Air Force and I was born and raised on military bases. We experienced many wonderful adventures around the world! My mom and dad are both from Utah, so this area was always home base for our family. From the time I was a small boy, I’ve loved to design and build. The Fantasy Treehouse is actually my second treehouse built. The first was deep in the woods , near or home outside of Dayton. Ohio, lumber and all, courtesy of Wright Patterson Air Force Base! I have 4 daughters, 2 sons and 9 wonderful grandchildren! I love the outdoors! Hiking and backpacking our local gorgeous mountains, remote wilderness camping, skiing waist deep dry fluffy powder snow, and fly fishing all my secret spots keeps me quite happy!!
Why they chose this property
The Fantasy Treehouse and Resort first started out as a treehouse for my family, especially my grandkids, to enjoy. Two of my daughters began an Airbnb in Honolulu, Hawaii. When they came home and stayed in the treehouse they felt like this place should be an Airbnb. Before returning to the islands, they had me all signed up as an Airbnb Host! The property is naturally gorgeous, with thick tall trees lining both sides of a running stream, and plenty of wildlife! Many guest call this place; the awesome oasis. The evenings are a blast sitting around the fire pit, watching the owls put on their show! Deer, hawks, and numerous animals live on the property. We keep the place open year round. The treehouse is very well insulated and is very warm and cozy! The hot tub is a hit year round. It’s so awesome to sit in the bubbly steamy hot tub in the winter!
What makes this property unique
The Fantasy Treehouse and Resort is built on 5 1/2 acres of a gorgeous oasis. Located in the center of the State of Utah, making it an ideal location to visit all the National Parks (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef), and close to the ski resorts of Park City, Alta, Snowbird and Brighton. Utah snow is dry fluffy powder, making it the greatest snow on earth!
