Thank you again for your feedback Kim. We really appreciate you letting us know about the crate and about the issue you had with the hot tub! As we discussed previously, our team was unaware that the home owner had left a dog crate in the garage. This property is not a pet-friendly vacation rental, meaning we (DoneRight Management), do not allow pets in this home per the owner's request. When you reached out to our office, the reservationist was apologetic and told you how surprised she was to hear that there was a crate in the garage (as this is not a pet-friendly rental), and she told you she would investigate what happened. At no point did she insinuate that you were lying and she feels very badly that you thought that. She 100% believed you and was trying to help. She was apologetic and concerned about your daughter. We will continue to work as a team to make sure there is more clarity within the communication and are so sorry that you felt this way! Unfortunately, when a home is listed as 'not pet-friendly,' we cannot guarantee that there has never been a pet in the home. Guests sometimes bring service animals into our vacation rentals without notifying our office which is rare, but does happen. In addition to home owners sometimes bringing their own animals even though they do not allow guests to bring animals. Again, we sincerely apologize that your experience was not 5-star and we do hope that you made some great memories in McCall.
